Acne Scar Removal

Hi Emily, I'm so glad to help. It looks amazing from the one subscision and bellafill syringe. I have struggled for years and. Ow that I'm getting older the skin is starting to sag the scars were more vivid. The filler levelled them. I may do one more session but will wait out the three month period because it builds itself with time as well. The issue is that the cheek area is smooth which now shows aging in my jowl area which also has scars but I'm thinking of only doing laser in that area because I don't want to change my facial structure with filler. Jacklyn who is one of the Dr Solomons nurses is very friendly, kind down to earth and gives you options based on you lifestyle meaning finances, procedure down time based on what you want to see. They're very realistic about the approach it's not a money grab (I've been to Yorkville spas that push lasers and drain you of cash with no results ) I will say that you can't be shy about approaching the nurses or the doctor in asking what you want. I use to think that you can just go in and they would tell you but learnt that if I don't tell them they tend to take a relaxed approach (again money grab) let me know what type of info you need and I'll be happy to share candidly my information with you. If I could save one person from the horrible feelings something as a little as scarring gives you I would feel so much better about myself. It is a silent suffering in a very superficial world

Have you tried Obagi nu derm? I am still in my early days (6th week) and I must say I have seen a slight improvement with my acne, acne scars, craters and fine lines.

KRae, fractional CO2 did not work for me. The subcisions by far had the best % of improvement and I had my Infini 10 days ago to help with texture and pores. IMHO, it is best to subcise first as this will untether the deep scars and create a better foundation for the Infini. Bellafill is a filler and is good, I guess, if one wants instant gratification. (Depending on no. of scars and depth)... But I will subcise once or twice and then Infini two to thee times and then subcise last for those scars that cannot be smoothened out. My derm surgeon suggested this for me and sharing with you all.

I have seen some of the best doctors in Toronto, specifically in the Yorkville area. I did the lasers and micro needling - very painful and not worth the results. Dr Solomon also recommends the laser but immediate result for indented scars was subscision with Bella Fill. I also had raised scars / rolling whatever they want to call them - which require the laser but I also think that skin tightening would improve them. My goal was to get rid of the holes which is what has happened. Ask to also see Jacklyn the nurse. She will guide you in terms of importance. Good luck!! I hope he can help and you love the results. Yes, fractora laser which was not worth the pain or money. The results of acne subscision and bellafill are immediate. I can't stress how satisfied I am - I'm shedding nothing but tears of joy.

Hi Nina, I’m Leesa, I am going to see fr solomsn on Tuesday for subcision and bellafill, I’m really nervous, as bellafill is permanent, did it change the appearance of your face at all? Or just changed the appearance of your scars? And is dr Solomon a specialist in acne scaring? Any info you can give me would be awesome! Thanks Nina

Sorry, I should have taken pics. I will take some tmrw in the sunlight. I will most likely have to do the procedure one or two more times. There is a definite difference and it's suppose to progressively get better in the next three months as collagen continues to build. I have struggled for years and seen so many specialists. No one has been able to help until Dr. Solomon. I'll upload pics tmrw
