Hi All

So a little bit about me, I am a 29 year old female. I have struggled with my weight for my entire life, I am 5'4 I have always been over weight coming in at around 155-170. It got really bad about 4 years ago when I hit my all time high at 237lbs. I decided enough was enough and with the support of my husband I did something about it. I did the P90x workout, in 90 days I lost 100lbs. I followed the program to the t. Worked out 6 days a week and ate exactly what they told me to eat when they told me to eat it. I would go to work for 8 hours a day, come home and work out for 1 and a half hours a day, roughly, and cooked for about 3-4 hours a day (making dinner and preparing breakfast and lunch for the following day). It was one heck of a commitment but well worth it. My lifestyle, food choices etc. all changed. I went from a size 16 to a size 4. Throwing out EVERYTHING I owned and buying a new wardrobe was the best feeling. I have kept the weight off, my workouts arent as intense anymore but I am at the gym 4-5 times a week.

However, I have only one issue, my lower abdomen. I want this little pouch gone. I know I could do this on my own but there are certain things I enjoy eating once in a while, my biggest weakness being poutine that I indulge in once a month when its my "time of the month", or that one glass of wine I like to have in the evening. SOOOO I decided to try velashape and ilipo, people save your money. It was a complete waste of time and money. Neither made a difference at all.

I had a friend tell me about coolsculpting not to long ago and so I researched the heck out of this new procedure. I'm always scared of all this technology, I want to have a family in the near future and want to makesure I'm not doing anything to my body that would prevent this from happening. Satisified that it was safe I made an appointment at the clinic closest to home. I went in, Valerie, who did this procedure was super sweet. She took me through everything, told me what I should expect during and after. So I went through with it. She came in my room every 10 mins to make sure I was doing ok.

When she first out the machine on my tummy it pulled all my fat in (think of a vacuum) and for the first 3-4 mins I thought I was going to faint or throw up or both...lol...but this passed very quickly and I sat there and watched Ferris Buellers Day off for the other 55 mins (its an hour all together). When we were done she pulled the machine off my tummy and my fat was frozen like a brick of butter, she proceeded to massage it and thaw it out. I put on my clothes and away I went. I didn't have any bruising or swelling, no pain, no pins and needles it just felt numb. I would touch my tummy and not have any feeling.

Its now been 3 weeks I haven't seen any results yet, the only type of discomfort I have had, if you want to call it that is my tummy gets itchy. But its not bad at all. I am sorting through pics now for my before and afters and am also waiting to go back to the clinic for my follow up and will ask them for the pics they took. Stay tuned I will be posting them very soon!

I am excited for the next couple of weeks to pass so I can see what my results will be like. Stay tuned and I will keep you posted.
