Not as happy as I thought I would be

I went with dr decision to do the thigh lift that pulls skin up and is pulled to he bottom of the butt. I wish I’d gone with the incision down the inner thigh. You should go with what you want, but I’ve realized that too late

Why do regret the medial vs the vertical TL? I think your legs look good.

I guess I feel like my legs would have been pulled tighter and and be smaller around my knee area. I really wanted her to concentrate on my knees the most. I’m still waiting and hoping :)

It's hard to tell yet, but it looks good at this point. I'm sorry you're disappointed so far, I know how that can feel. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Thanks for the pictures. They answer a lot of questions I have. I don’t need the work on the knees, but need to lose the wrinkles from my knees to my upper thighs. I think what you had done would work for me, but my TT, BR and lift doctor probably won’t do me. He thinks I’m good as I am, but at 63 the wrinkles after my post surgical weight loss is bothering me.
You might want to give yourself more time to let your body heal. It’s early still. Best wishes to you!

If you do plan on doing the same surgery as I did, make sure you can just lie around for about 4-6 weeks. I had to return to work and sitting on the sutures hurts. Now the glue and tape is off and some open spots are bleeding I know 1 1/2 weeks is too soon to return to work, but I have bills to pay

After my last surgery (in May 2018) they said I should go to a concert I had scheduled within 2 weeks. It was tough, Ravinia if you know what that is, but I did it. Don’t know the difference between the surgeries. Did you have any lipo done? Did you have to wear a compression garment? If you do, wear it religiously!

I had lipo and thigh lift and yes I wear compression garments religiously. Only take it off for shower and then right back on. I still have bleeding tubes in and my ankles were as big as my thighs last night. After all night with legs and feet elevated , my ankles are back to normal. It’s starting to hurt and bleed where the thigh lift was done. It hurts to sit and do anything like watching TV, eating supper, using restroom, etc... Going for dr visit today. Hopefully she’ll have some solutions or ideas :) thank you

How are you doing today? I think you are going to get great results! Was the pain terrible? Thanks for sharing the pics.

Doing a little better each day. The worst pain is the lipo. Feels like extremely tight belts and there’s a lot of swelling and bruising. My dr admitted in my last visit that she “touched a vein” and that’s why my left leg was really still oozing blood and swollen and my right leg was doing a lot better. Still waiting on the tubes to come out and I’m going to start very lightly massaging my legs. Still wearing compression garments 24/7:)
