Very Disappointed
So before my review I want to say that my experience at Nordesthetics was good at the beginning. Everything was organized well and smoothly. The hospital was very clean and modern. I was also happy to be reassured by my surgeon that should I not be satisfied with my results he would happily revise it until I was (I made sure he agreed to revisions beforehand, but unfortunately his word was not true). My reason for the surgery was to be able to wear short skirts and a swimsuit proudly, and I explained this to him, but thanks to my results I can wear neither. The surgeon agreed it was something he could definitely do, but a revision may be required and that he would do it. However he has gone against his word even though he (my surgeon) made promises and despite seeing the issues that resulted from the surgery. The surgery is poor and I am left with a visible disfigurement. I am truly gutted about my results here.I went for an arm lift and a thigh lift. The immediate results of the arm lift were horrific, I had really tight folds of skin under both armpits that rub painfully on everything. They looked so bad a revision was booked, however after 2 months the huge pulls/flaps loosened up when the stitches dissolved and the problem was sorted (hoorah!"). The thigh lift on the other hand was the other way around the results seemed quite good at first, but unfortunately as the swelling went down they got worse. I have incisions down the front sides of both my thighs (they should be inside the thigh so they cannot be seen from the front or back) The skin on my thighs is already sagging, I have odd new rolls of skin at the top of my inner thighs (didn't have this before)and what I can only describe as a new labia (flap of skin on my left top thigh) which is only there as they made they incision too low, and joined it up before they reached the crook of my groin before the top of my thigh ended, so I have a flap of skin there now.Despite showing the surgeon the pictures (which are pretty awful and shows the poor result) I was denied a revision by him even though I have scars running down my entire thigh, down past my knee and onto my shin on the fronts of my legs that are in the wrong place, that will forever be on the fronts of my thighs/legs, a new extra labia which is obviously very ugly, and a complete embarrassment and saggy skin which I paid to have removed. My surgeon lied to me and left me hung out to dry. I still haven't had the 500 euros returned to me yet for my deposit for the revision surgery they booked for my arms that I am no longer having (yes they make you pay) either yet. I have spoken to other surgeons about corrections in different companies, but they don't want to touch it as they feel their results will be poor given what they are working with. So basically I look awful, I'm skint, I'm now depressed and I've nowhere to turn, ever!
So in summary: the care/aftercare before the procedure is good, also whilst you are at the hospital and in their country, however when you return home and you are in a country where it's very difficult to take legal action you're on your own. Some people have wonderful results and I really am happy for them, but some people don't and I feel for them, being in this situation is very hard for your mental health. Go to Nordesthetic if you don't mind taking a chance and have the money for any corrections that might arise in your own country, otherwise maybe they aren't for you!?EDIT: please also know that revisions (even if their surgeon's poor work is at fault) at Nordesthetics are notoriously hard to get, so this is also something to bear in mind. Also, the terms that you have to agree to are so bad, most of the common issues that arise from surgery are not within the revisions policy, so saggy skin, misshapen results, poor lipo results, poor fat transfer placement, wrongly placed scars etc and the list goes on, so unless it's about one of the five things they say that actually do fix (can't say whether this is true or not) you're not getting any help.I can't post most of my pics as they are too awful, however if I continue to get nowhere I will do.
