Thigh Lift and More

I had a gastric sleeve in 2016 and lost about 80 lbs. At the age of 53 my skin does not have the elasticity it did when I was younger. Well I still was heavier, weighing 170 lb, my legs were a crepey and my skin hung everywhere.
going back a little bit in time, in 1990 I had a tummy tuck that went hip to hip. At the same time I had a breast reduction. I had stretch marks all over my stomach and a c-section scar that went up to my belly button. I weighed probably 145 pounds at the time. It was long before websites were available where you could compare results. so I was left with something on my hips called dog ears which I was unfamiliar with at the time of my surgery. I also had a problem that my mons was so big after my surgery. He had pulled it up high and not suctioned any fat out of it. As the years went by I realized that I didn't get the best work done by Dr. Antonetti in Dallas.
I would see if you doctors mostly about the hanging fat under my arms and my thighs. after meeting with Dr Bradley Hubbard and him taking careful time talking to me about the different options that were available to me, I ended up getting a lot more work done. But the work was done in a way that created less scarring than what the other doctors recommended and actually I think that I couldn't be happier with the result.
Dr. Hubbard takes the time to explain things to you. I got a kick out of the him drawing pictures on the paper that covers the exam chair to give me an example of before and afters for me. I was really self conscious about my Mons, it was huge 6in across. It stuck out in every bit of clothes that I wore. It stuck out further than my belly. I'll never forget he turned around and looked at the nurse and said mons matter, and yes they sure do.
I had the surgery on April 15th all at once. initially he was going to do a mini tummy tuck to get rid of my mom's and get some additional tightness on the skin between my mons and my belly button. It would have also gotten rid of some stretch marks. In follow-up consultations I decided to go ahead and do an extended tummy tuck without muscle repair so that he could take it all the way around to the back get rid of my hips and also lift my butt at the same time. My tummy tuck was without muscle repair and he did not have to get rid of my belly button.
He recommended a thigh lift from the bottom of my knee up to my groin. It was not a t cut and I'm glad for that because they create so much more problems from what I've seen. It leaves the top of the thighs a little thicker but over time you have less problems and scarring. He also performed lipo extensively through my legs and hips. He did lipo on my back and my lower stomach.
previous doctors had recommended a bra lift that would cut across my back to lift the skin under my arms that would fold over. It always made it so hard to buy bras. They would fit the front and then I would have this extra skin just folding over and bulging from the top of the side straps. instead he did a breast lift that made the outer cut go all the way to my armpit. He took out what he says was equal to a can of Coke from under each arm of fat and removed the excess skin there. He tightened it up and I have this tight nice look now.
What has happened to me is a complete transformation. I have to say in the beginning there was a lot of swelling and it was hard to tell. As every week went by the swelling went down and my shape started to appear. I got used to looking at myself and got hypercritical thinking that maybe I didn't look as good as I thought.
Today 3 months and a week after my surgery I decided to take pictures again. I had not done this in 5 weeks. It was a great wake-up call to see the difference from before and after. Dr. Bradley Hubbard is a true sculptor. He is gifted like Michelangelo.
I can wear a bikini now. The one pictured is not the one that I like to wear but it's one that fit me before and it's consistent in all my pictures so that's why I keep using it. I have a lot of pictures that I have taken from before surgery to now. But like I said the last five weeks I don't have many. But if you're thinking about doing this please reach out to me and I will share pictures with you
I highly recommend dr. Bradley Hubbard. I had common complications of swelling and some small seromas that went away with lymphatic massages and endermologie. I had no infections I had no popped stitches. He took care to not over lipo me so I would not have hanging skin. He's a perfectionist. I got so lucky the day that my dermatologist recommended him to me.
