WORTH IT
I have stopped wearing the compression garment, there is still some light bruising and bumps as my body heals. I had Endimed (provider included 2 sessions) to speed up the smoothing out process. It's still numb as expected, which feels weird. I am happy with the results!

How you feeling now? I’m 5 months in and my neck looks terrible and I’m still numb all over my neck and chin. Feels like it’s always sticky and needs to be wiped. I hope you’re having a better outcome
My neck is still numb but sore (which is an odd feeling). It's a bit lumpy, which I was told is also expected and my neck feels tight (like if I tilt my head back, it feels too tight to put my head all the way back). I have had EndyMed done as well (already had it once 2 weeks post-op, I have another in a week or two). This heats up your fat (externally) and helps it melt/smooth out. I've seen a definite difference in my jowl area, but I'm waiting to be 100% to fully decide if it's "worth it". Courtney Albritton (PA-C) was my provider and is pretty honest - said the numbing could last a few months and the lumps will dissipate over time. I don't feel sticky, I do have little scars on my chin and by my ears I hope will smooth out a bit (fingers crossed), and I get frustrated when my chin/neck itches and I can't really scratch it because of the numbness.

Most of the bruising has gone away, my neck itches a lot, and my steritape won't fall off. My neck also feels tight and I may be slightly swollen still. Icing helps a lot. I am not noticing a big change in appearance yet, but everything I have read says that is normal.

I got to take my compression garment off today (still sleeping with it for 2 weeks). My neck is both sore and numb...but also itchy in unidentifiable areas.

I bruised pretty significantly it seems and my compression garment is shoving blood into a fu manchu style on my face. I can see improvement on my jawline ever so slightly, but I currently look like I lost a fight.
