Thermage Aged Me About 5 Years

did you do thermage flx? What did the provider say when you addressed the concerns?

Hello, I was recommended Thermage and now pondering if to go ahead with the procedure or not (after reading about yout experience). Do you mind sharing your age please and how deep it was performed? Thanks so much

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you had with this. I too had Thermage FLX done a little over 2 years ago at the age of 43. My skin was still pretty good. Very few lines, basically no sagging yet. I was told it would be a preventative measure and would improve whatever minimal age-related stuff was happening. I paid a ton for it, it did absolutely nothing positive whatsoever, and I am starting to think it aged me. The progress of the aging effects of my skin skyrocketed afterward. I used to have a strong, well-defined jawline. Now I have jowls! In 2 years? With doing everything else right? My cheeks look more hollow and asymmetrical too. I took pics just before, immediately after, 6 months after, and a year after. There was zero improvement up to 1 year. At that 1 year mark there was some obvious degradation and it's only gone downhill rapidly since then. I haven't had any other procedures done and I take care of my skin in every way possible, so what else could it be? I had it done on my entire face and neck. I haven't noticed anything negative on my neck, but nothing positive either.
