This is my first post so hello lovelies! I chose to have Breast Augmentation because I gained around 20lbs a few years ago and when I lost it and become a bit healthier and fitter my boobs lost out! I feel like I was left with breasts of someone older and who had had children. I have no plan to have children soon so I thought I had the perfect opportunity to have my surgery. So I had my surgery yesterday around 5pm - 400cc Round High Profile Motiva's. So happy with my choice but haven't seen my breasts properly yet. Will show more pics as time goes on. The whole process for me has been fantastic - no lie! I have had amazing communication and reassurance from my Patient Care Coordinator between the consultation and surgery date. Although I had to wait 4 and a half hours in my room before my surgery, the procedure was done and I was back in my ward within under 2 hours! I have been receiving absolutely amazing aftercare from the nurses! Especially my overnight nurse who has been truly wonderful. I am feeling a little pressure and tightness especially when I move - but that's normal! Any excuse to lie still and relax haha. I am due to be discharged later this morning so I will ensure I keep updating you all on my progress as the days go on! Just wish I had an electric bed at home ha as I think sleep is what I will struggle most with, but we shall see! Thank you for reading my post and please ask any questions or give any support as it's very welcome! Lots of love x

Post Op Day 2

So I came home from hospital yesterday lunch time. I've been feeling pretty okay, not too much discomfort or pain. I'm really hoping it stays like this! Finally got to eat something more than a few biscuits last night so that's helped I think. I even managed to have a wash so that made me feel wonderful! I've just woken up from my first nights sleep at home in my own bed and I've slept a solid 8 hours so I'm extremely happy! I thought sleep was going to be awful but apparently not - I do however need to try and get myself out of bed yet. There's tightness and pressure when I stand up from lying down but no extreme pain so that's good. Keeping on top of the painkillers and antibiotics! Here are some pictures of what they look like so far (I took them in the hospital yesterday)

I'm going for the 295cc sub-muscular motiva implant. I'm just worried they'll look too big on my frame :( He told me that if he thinks they look too big he'll try smaller ones during surgery...I'm just flapping! He first advised 255cc and I think he could tell I wanted to go a little bigger so said he'd try the 295cc. But now I'm not sure! Argh it's so hard trying to decide on a size :( I'm glad to hear he was there post-surgery and made you feel at ease pre-surgery! I have a feeling I'm going to be a nightmare! X

I was originally advised on 335cc as I wanted a D cup but then wondered if I could go bigger so went for 400cc. I'm so glad I did as they don't look too big for my frame! I had above the muscle but I had the room, elasticity and thickness of the skin to do so. It's less pain above the muscle so I'm glad I could lol. I'm sure he will be able to put you at ease on a Saturday, he was amazing for me. X

I'm trying to find your stats, how tall are you? How nice that you had room to go above muscle. Hopefully everything will still look lovely if you ever decide to have little ones. :) I'm glad you're home & able to rest.

Ok I am 150 5'2 31 years old I had my surgery Tues and one side they had to cut a little more. I had a lift with implants at the same time. I get my bra and gauze changed tomorrow but I have been so scared cause I feel like the one the cut on is alot harder and I can feel and hear fluid in it :( I called Dr today and She said it's normal have anyone had these symptoms or am I being a baby lol

Did you have Silicone or Saline? I'm not familiar with the brand.

Definitely the brest that was cut & lifted more is going to feel tighter because of inflammation, if you had saline that could be some of the fluid sound that you're hearing? I'm sure it's absolutely normal, your body's response to any medical procedure is going to be fluid. If the Nurse says it's normal I would try to not stress out, stress is incredibly unhealthy & can do a major number on your immune system. I know that every morning I would wake up with excess fluid/inflammation on both of my breasts. As the went on, the fluid would go down & then it would happen again. This went on for me for at least 4wks, so I'm sure that's what you're exsperiencing. Make sure you elevate & try to keep your breasts in an upright position as much as possible. I will pray for you & your appointment, I definitely remember having a lot of excess fluid around my breasts. I know it's easier sad than done, but please try to rest, relax & trust the dr. I'm sure that tomorrow when you see your breasts they will be fine. Of course they might look bazaar @ first, but as each day passes they'll look more & more fabulous! Best of healing & luck to you love

Post Op Day 8

User Avatar

It's been over a week already! I have been feeling great for a few days now, only discomfort is pressure when I go from laying down or sitting to standing up. I also haven't had much bruising which I'm thankful for. I went to my post op appt today with the Cambridge clinic and had my dressings taken off. I am healing very well so no need to redress them! They are very neat and scabbing over - I am now allowed to shower as long as I let the water trickle down and don't submerge the scars in any water whatsoever. I am very happy with my progress and they've both dropped a little. The right side a little more than the other but that's only natural. I can also feel my nerves reattaching and zapping every now and then which is strange! I'm back at work too but taking it really easy as I don't want to hinder my recovery or my results! I will take some pictures later on and update you all :) thank you for being a part of my journey :D for now, here is a picture I took a couple of days ago so around 5-6 days post op xx

Hi ... I'm having surgery with dr giuseppe in 2 weeks. Breast augenmentation, over muscle 400cc silicone motiva round! But I'm a 34a with lots of space from breast feeding. What size have you achieved you look like you were a b or c to start with? And thanks for posting this you truly have relieved me I've been stressing so much about going over the muscle and having this doctor.
