Medimakeovers NOT RECOMENDED Tummy Tuck, Breast Lift and Mammoplasty - Thailand

For my 30th birthday as a mother of 4 I wanted to...

For my 30th birthday as a mother of 4 I wanted to get my implants replaced and have a tummy tuck. So a friend of mine had been through medimakeovers and didn't have any problems (she only had breast augmentation and it was with Yanhee hospital) so I decided to go through them after Kerri contacted me and said I would have to have a breast lift as well (which I was totally against as I knew it involved removing the nipple) Kerri said I had to have the lift or the surgeon wouldn't do the surgery so I hesitantly agreed.

I admit I should have researched other companies because of the state I am in now I totally regret not looking at other companies. On the day of my surgery I went to Piyavate hospital with a Thai lady called Ying who was new as Zara (Daniela's daughter) was stuck in Bali. The other lady whom travelled with me to the hospital was nervous and not happy with how the company just got someone new in and didn't introduce us so we all spent the night on our own not knowing who everyone was when we had paid to be apart of a group yet I for one spent the night alone as well as when I arrived I couldn't check in to the hotel till 2pm so I had to find my way around Bangkok by myself. At my consultation Dr Rungkit took photos and asked me out of two sizes which would I like? He didn't have any examples of what it would look like as I remembered 10 years ago when I had my first breast implants put in (which I never had a problem with) they were a cost of $7,500 NZD 10 years ago hence why I wanted to go to Thailand for the surgery.

After my surgery I had extreme pain and was on morphine which at one time the nurse was trying to put the vile into my drip and it wasn't going through (this was on my birthday) and it was causing horrific pain finally when I was in tears she stopped and left the room then came back and just removed the drip and said I couldn't have anything now for pain just panadol. I kept telling Dr Rungkit when he would come in to check on me that my leg was in extreme pain and I had something wrong with it obviously due to the tummy tuck but he would say it will come good its just I had been laying in the same position for too long but its now been almost three months and I have no feeling in one leg. One of my nipples has got necrosis due to the way Dr Rungkit has cut me I have huge scars and I have been to the Queensland plastic surgery clinic and seen a surgeon who was mortified by what has been done my pictures will be on their website to warn others from going over to Thailand. The surgeon here has said the techniche used by Dr Rungkit is not practised here in Australia and is 10 years out of date he has not done his job correctly and said he would back me up if I choose to take this further. I explained to him that Daniela blames me saying I didn't look after myself properly that I partied and it is my fault but the surgeon said it is not my fault at all it is the surgeon in Thailand.

My husband contacted Daniela about what the surgeon has said and she said it was my fault for not looking after myself and called him a f'ing idiot and hung up on him. Daniela also spoke rudely to me when I didn't want to be at the cultural show and wanted to take some pictures on my last night in Bangkok she told me off like I was some little kid even my own mother wouldn't speak to me the way she did. The morning I was to leave 45 minutes passed before anyone came to help me with my luggage then when I went to check out Daniela demanded her loan phone back and said I had to find my own way to the airport because I was late her driver couldn't wait. So they didn't provide the service I paid for on top the director Daniela was nasty she also sat at the dinner table talking about another client smoking and how she got an infection etc there is no confidentiality with Daniela as soon as I got back to Australia she removed me from the medimakeovers Facebook page for no reason other than she was being vindictive as I hadn't done anything wrong.

She e-mailed me stating all the other girls on the group complained about me and yet I have most of them as my friends so whether that was just to hurt me even more I don't know as if I am not already physically hurt by going through medimakeovers and been butchered wasn't enough for her. So to conclude I warn any of you thinking of considering going to get surgery with medimakeovers to look for another company and make sure your surgeon knows what he is doing as no one deserves to go through what I have. Currently I have to go to my gp for dressings every second day I haven't been able to go back to work and totally regret ever seeing medimakeovers or having surgery in Thailand it has ruined my body and caused me to get extremely depressed. I have posted a photo taken today almost 3 months post op of the mess they have made.

Rushed consultation, wasn't able to understand very well. After the operation has left me with nipple necrosis from the breast lift and a dead leg from the tummy tuck.

I am slowly healing it has been 3 months now and I still have an open wound that I have to dress twice daily. Daniela at medimakeovers blames me for the fact her surgeon is a butcher and my friend whom had the same operation has finally been to a surgeon and has been told the same as me I have now contacted a current Affair in hope to have other woman not go through the same ordeal we have.

betty that is a very ill informed opinion. Both my brother and sister had terrible botched surgery in my home country of Australia. My brother nearly died as a result of incompetant Australian doctors. For every bad news overseas horror story, there is possibly 95% that turn out just fine. Same risks every where. I'm sorry for yiur horrible experience Gorjez. Hopefully with time, it can be corrected

Thank you for your comment it is australian companies promoting Thailand and then putting you in touch with surgeons in thailand assuring you they are competent and qualified but they really are only qualified in Thailand and not internationally.

If one of the reasons people travel to get surgery is looking for something inexpensive and better results sorry but you got yourself into this for not making your research and just going with your first option
