Second surgery complete 7 months later
In Thailand, Hua Hin, relaxing after Vaser lipo last Saturday 14 August in Bangkok. I had 7 more sites treated with the same surgeon as in January this year. Much easier recovery this time compared to having 18 sites treated first time around. Will post pics once home and hospital has sent me before and after pics.
Why i didnt have massage
Hey, I didn't have massage after the vaser as I was in hospital for 2 days with drains coming out of both my tummy and both thighs to remove the excess fluid. The Dr didn't ask me to have any massage or other treatments until after around 3-4 weeks when i did gentle massage on the treated areas myself and this was more like a rub with the palm of my hand.
Almost 6 month mark pics
So, almost 6 month post surgery. Happy with the results. Have gone from 76kg to 67kg through eating better and moderate exercise. About 3kg was removed through the vaser. I am actually returning to Thailand to the same surgeon on the 15 August (one mth away) for small touchups. So, around 8 points compared to my original 18. Mainly going to support a friend who is having upper and lower eyelids done plus an upper forehead lift.
Provider Review
Dr Pornthep Pungrasmi
Dr Pornthep is very professional. There were some areas I wanted treated but he said he couldn't do due to the risks (eg upper back of leg near bottom area as too close to the sciatic nerve). He spoke English and the International coordinator was present for consultations to translate if any further clarifications were needed. He went through all the risks of the surgery and he even had a physiotherapist come to see me before and after surgery to get me to do exercises to ensure my lungs were strong (I suffer some asthma).
