WORTH IT$9,000
I am two weeks post-op from having vaser lipo on my inner and outer thighs, inner knees, upper and lower abdomen, love handles, back bra strap area and under arms. I also had an upper eye lift.
This was all done in Thailand. I live in New Zealand and the procedures would've cost in excess of US$20,000 for the lipo (vaser isn't readily available so it would've been done using the original suck out method). Plus over US$2,500 for the upper eye lift. I decided on Thailand as a medical holiday destination as the price was much less and the surgeons very qualified plus using the vaser method is suppose to have quicker recovery time.
I researched on line and decided to use a company at the following website to organise quotes etc: https://www.plasticsurgerythailand.com. Once I'd received two quotes (after sending photos of areas I wanted treated), I decided on Bangpakok 9 International Hospital in Bangkok. My surgeon was Dr Pornthep Pungrasmi. This was all confirmed in October 2014 and surgery date booked for 22 January 2015. Once I arrived in Thailand and had a consultation the day before surgery, I also decided to have an upper eye lid lift (saggy upper eyes runs in my family and this would've only gotten worse). Each area Dr Porthep marked up was counted as one point. I had 18 which apparently is quite a lot as most patients have around 12.
I wasn't really thinking about how I'd feel afterwards but it was hard. I had brought natural items with me to help with the healing process and recovery from general anesthetic such as a high potency multi-vitamin, arnica drops for bruising recovery and milk thistle used to cleanse the liver (which processes the anesthetic). The surgery took 5 hours and the Dr removed 3 litres of fat (3.17 quarts approx). After 2 nights in hospital, I was fitted with a compression garment for the legs and body and a separate one for the arms (approx US$300).
So surgery was on the 22 January 2015 and I returned to see the Dr on the 1 February 2015 to have my final checkup and stitches removed from the incision entry sites plus eye lids. Upper body at this stage was showing a noticeable improvement and legs some improvement. Now on the 8 February, there is noticeable improvement to my legs.
I've only put arm photos up at the moment as I haven't had a chance to do the body ones yet but will do so in the next couple of weeks.

Im interested to know why you chose this doctor. Please correct me if I am wrong but from what I have read about this doctor he is specialized in oral surgery as opposed to lipo. Just interested in what information you had on him before procedure. thanks
