Update 1

Hello guys! So I just wanted to share my...

Hello guys!
So I just wanted to share my experience on my double eyelid at Yanhee Hospital in Bangkok.

I have always thought of getting double eyelids since I was younger since I thought double eyelids looks really pretty and since I have mono lids my eyelashes grew downwards and tends to poke my eyes so I thought getting it done would fix this problem.
Though I never really thought that I would really get it since my I am scared of needles and my family thinks I don't need to get it and I don't mind having mono lids. But one day I decided on inquire about it and the next thing I know I'm already booking my flights to go to Bangkok!!!

So I was scheduled for May 5, that would be the day of consultation and procedure. My original doctor was on holidays that time so I was given the chance to choose my doctor and I did choose Dr. Greechart. I did a lot of research on him and found he is one of the top doctors at the hospital and he specializes double eyelid surgery.
During consultation they do assign a interpreter as the doctor spoke little English. I didn't have much questions though as I already did my research and was ready to do the procedure straight away. They ask you to sign a waiver and it states all the possible side effects and possible out comes of the surgery.

Surgery Day:
I was taken to the surgery room and was given a pill that was suppose to help you relax. They make you stay in a different room for about 10-15 mins then take you to the operating room. By the time I was there I was shaking as the bed was cold and I was pretty nervous. They tied my hands to the bed and prepared me for the surgery then they injected something on my hand which knocked me out (it was all rainbows and butterflies). I was conscious a couple of times and could smell my flesh burning and could feel them stitching up my eyelids. When it was almost done they woke me up and asked to open my eyes and it was all blurry. After that I was transferred to the recovery room which I stayed 1-2 hours then I was dispatched from the hospital.

I felt really dizzy because of the drugs but there was no pain. My eyes just felt really heavy and I could not open them very well. My vision was a bit blurry too. The hospital provided me with medications for pain, antibiotics and swelling. I was told not to bend down, eat spicy food and not to get my face wet for the next 3 days. They do provide you with a guide on the do's and don'ts.

For the first 3-4 days there was a lot of swelling but it gradually got better. I was informed that the swelling will subside fully after 4-6 months. At the moment I am on my 12th day and my eyes are still swollen also not yet able to wear make up butI will update you guys! If you have any questions please do ask as I'd like to share much information as I can to people who are planning on getting the same procedure.

During consultation has to wait a while as there were many patients so it kinda assured me that he is a good doctor. Dr. Greechart was very professional and you can see he is really experienced on what he is doing. The consultation was very quick though as he is very busy so most of my questions was just answered by the interpreter when we were out of his office. The nurses told me he is very strict and he is a very popular doctor.
