Hyaluronidase
I was terrified to get some of the filler dissolved after reading some of the horror stories posted here. I decided to go speak with the doctor about it and we decided to dissolve some filler with a tiny amount of hyaluronidase. It worked. I gave it 4 days to decide if I need more dissolved. I did not. I do believe that you need to go conservative with both fillers AND hyaluronidase , also to have a doctor who listens and understands. I am very happy now. I was so stressed out over this experience so I am not sure I will ever get fillers again.
After an unsatisfactory lower transconjunctival...
After an unsatisfactory lower transconjunctival blepharoplasty, I decided to try fillers to correct some asymmetry. The past week has been stressful waiting to see the final outcome. I did research, sought out the best in the area ( this doctor teaches how to inject fillers and is considered one of the best in the field) despite doing my due diligence, I am fairly certain I am going to have to dissolve some filler. I am not super happy with the result thus far (overfilled and lumpy) and I am pretty sure I have tyndall effect. I am going for a follow up on Wednesday to see what is happening. You can do research, pay top dollar and still not get a good result. Fillers are scary. Even scarier is, the possibility of dissolving them. If the doctor can overfill, then they can certainly use too much hyaluronidase to dissolve it and it's not the safe "magic eraser " they claim it to be. I read a document from the manufacturer and they even say "•An overdose may not only affect the injected HA filler but also the body’s own HA." So this freaks me out big time. Stay tuned. ????
