just turned 30 and I’m ready for this more than ever!! I feel like I’m in a good place in my life to finally get this done. I’m wanting to do a tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. I have 3 kids ages 14, 13 and 7. Been with my hubby since I was 15 teen Years old. Been to hell and back! It’s not easy being a teen mom..

Anyways... I have always had a small frame. I’m 4”11 and I weigh about 117 pounds. I workout about 3 times a week and eat healthy. I have lost about 20 pounds since my last pregnancy. Now I have so much extra skin I hate it! It drives me out of my mind! I have always had a tummy since my 1st pregnancy. My boy was 9 pounds and the after math on that was not funny! lol No matter how much I have tried I cannot get rid of this extra loose skin.

I have been getting all kinds of mixed feelings about my surgery. From family to friends. Examples… ‘OMG’ your crazy your already skinny! That’s a waste of money! You’re a mom not a teenager! Too.. wow you really deserve this! You’ve worked so hard raising your kids it’s time for you to enjoy life. As for my HUBBY… Well it took him a good while to be okay with my decision. He’s now worry about the pain and me taking time off of work. Other than that he’s good!!! Lol I have so many worries but I’m sure I will be okay. I guess it’s normal to have all these mixed emotions

as far as time off work see if Texas allows State Disability for Cosmetic Procedures! I live in California and thank god they do!

OMG I got the same exact response from my friend and family. It made me so upset. Then I started to show them what I was dealing with and then they all looked at me like oh ok..I see!! Im not as tiny as you..I'm 5ft 4in and 123lbs. Gained 80lb with both my pregnancies. Killed my stomach ugh! As long as you are sound with your decision and your husband. i was nervous how my man would take it but he knew how much I bothered me which began to take a toll in the bedroom :( So he is thrilled to have me back and so I am! I would do it all over again in a heart beat! My recovery wasn't bad at all. Im 3 & 1/2 weeks post op. Ask me anything..good luck. I will be thinking of you :) ps your beautiful!

Thanks for your response. Yes I just now realized it has taken a toll in the bedroom. I have always been so embarrassed of my tummy!! A lot of people say it’s in my head! I have worked hard to get where I’m at now and I feel by having this done. It’s funny because I’ve showed my tummy too and I got the same response… Ewe gross! lol
How old are your kiddos? Mine are all old enough to help me out. Where you nervious?

My girl is 9 and my son is 19 moths. My fiance was and still is a big help! He took off the first week. Of course I was nervous..I was a lot of things to say the least. Had my dr prescribe me xanax for night b4 surgery just to take the edge off. So happy I did it and didn't let anyone sway me otherwise! Glad you will have extra hands after you will def need them the first few days.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been getting greif over having this surgery as well. My husband is ok with it, everyone at work and my family thinks I am nuts, my mother in law has been the worst! She is trying to make me feel guilty about the amount of money I am spending on myself(and I must say it worked... but luckily I have already paid). I am so ready for this to be over, I go in 1 week and it can't get here fast enough, I am so excited. I have just told everyone that they are not the one who has to look in the mirror everyday and they certainly aren't the one paying for it so mind your own beeswax!!!

Good for you! I got the same grief..family saying think of what else u could be doing w/ all that $$$ planning a wedding, kitchen reno, basement reno well guess what I got a mommy renovation lol!! and let me tell u NO regrets whats so ever! The week b4 surgery flew by for me bc I had so much to do in order to prepare for the big day and I also had a jewelry demo a few night b4 so cleaned, cooked, then cleaned some more hahah but it was good having all my girlfriends over. Also was busy running around getting all the fun stuff I needed to have after the surgery. For example, fill my scripts, tissues, chap stick, vitamins,gauze, omg I could go on & on..sorry ha!

Aww thanks!! I really do hope so!! I want this so bad it hurts. It's all I think about! Can't wait until I have to stop tucking in my skin like a shirt ! Lol :)

I say go for it I think you would look great and have no regret what so ever!!! The biggest part for me was actually deciding to do it and then the day I paid... which meant no turning back :)

I think you are going to look great! And as for the family, I know exactly how you feel! I'm not even telling my family. My sister and mother are always saying....well you had kids and that's part of having children is for your body to change. If you die then what are you gonna tell God? That you were so vain that you risked your life to change it?
I mean seriously...low blow there.
Anyway, I've had 5 children and twins really did a number on me...I'm tired of feeling bad about myself and wanna look good for my husband. We are like yall, I"ve been with him since I was 14 years old and we've been through so much together. Our oldest was born when I was 16 and he has severe CP and so we've been through so much and have finally gotten to a great great place and I wanna do something that's a little bit just for "us"! That doesn't however take away from my scared out of my mind status but I'm gonna do it! I have faith in God to take care of me! Just gonna keep praying about it and hopefully find some peace!
