a year and for months after first treatment
I'll keep it short: A lot of hassle , no results. Acne scars are exactly the same after two treatments. No change at all. Maaaybe I could say that there is a very small improvement i the way my make up applied, but that would be minimal. Also, my skin is very very dry, never went back to normal in that sense. There wasn't a lot of pain after the first hours after each treatment, but it takes hard work to stay out of the sun light and away from heat. You lose days of work/school and look terible for weeks. Not worth it.
3 Months after last laser
It´s been three months after my last CO2 laser and I´m sure I won´t be doing it again. I´m not saying I regret having it done, I actually believe it has helped me emotionally because now I feel like I have tried to do something about an issue that has bothered me for quite some time.
It has not made my skin smooth or flawless in any way. I didn´t expect it, of course, but I did expect more improvement than this. I would say I see around 15% improvement and not really in the scarring, my complexion is a little bit better but the scars I believe are unchanged. Now I´m using retin-A .05 which was prescribed both for the acne (still have some hormonal breakouts, as I´m in my early twenties) and to help a little with collagen production. Before I started the laser procedures I bought a micro needle roller since I´ve read many good reviews about them but only used it twice. I will soon start using that, along with the prescription strenght Retin- A. Maybe these two combined will help boost the collagen production that was started by the laser, but I honestly don´t believe I will be achieving the results I expected.
While I do not regret having this procedure done, I would not recommend it to someone with high expectations.

Day 5, peeling half way there
Yesterday my boyfriend insisted on spending the afternoon with me. I tried to refuse, but ended up cuddling on his couch watching netflix. It was my worst looking day so far. Gross, honestly, but he took care of me, spoiled me and made me feel loved
