WORTH IT$7,000
Has anyone ever developed a "herniation" around their belly button after a tt? I guess I'm the lucky one who has one. My ps says insurance will take care of it, but I don't want to have surgery again! I have almost become disappointed with my surgery. Not only that but because my belly button is less than pretty, and I don't think he did enough lipo. Idk, maybe it's just a bad week.

4 weeks/ 1 month: I have done much better in the last week! I'm getting around much better, I'm able to do more around the house, and over all feeling better. My PS gave me something to help me sleep @ night & I've been allowed to sleep without my binder so I'm in bed now laying flat. It's much better.
I will try to post pics soon. I've been taking one per week. I can't say that it's nice & pretty yet, but that jelly roll is gone! Happy healing!

Hello momofall, i just read your posts and chuckled to myself, especially the pic where u sucked it in, I would always show my stepdaughter if only i looked like this when i would stretch with my hands up in the air,my belly and lovehandles looked tighter...kinda......i m 12 days po and it is so so hard to not do the little things that u have always done.......I cleaned my whole house the day before like a tasmanian devil......was a good thing to keep busy, and my feelings bounced from scared to being happy. The pain and not to do anything for weeks was my biggest fear, no, the first was being ok doing the tt. But as the days went by, my husband was awsome and that helped big time for me to relax............i hav to tell ya he set up a tv in the spare bedroom and I have about 6 pillows for my bac and under my legs, and oh, a traveling neck pillow, that has been the best for ur neck......still sleeping on my bac, but sleeping better every new nite..............Anyway, it is so helpful to read what all the other tt gals r going thru like me......take care........i son't know how to post pics. yet. I just got my laptop a few months ago and mainly learn everything on my own....lol.... i m one of those 54 year old gals.............

Hope you are feeling ok. It took me a long time. I am actually still wearing a binder or at least a spans garment everyday. I still wake up "knowing" I had surgery. I am so ready to heal & not even be able to tell, other than the scar!

3weeks: I don't have much to report. I know my body is healing but it doesn't feel like I'm doing much more than I did last week. I get around better, but still slow. I can't go far without the CG. I rarely take it off, even to sleep, not that I'm sleeping much.
I'm using the Mederma on my scar. I hope it helps! I need to start walking more. I just don't feel good lately. I think it's because I've been 3 weeks without exercise & being in the house. I am depressed. I still don't regret it, I am just ready to feel normal again.
I'm also having trouble sleeping. My body is so tired but my mind won't rest! And when I do sleep, I swell! Does anyone else do this? Should I not wear the CG to bed? I need rest!
I hope you all are healing well!

Hi there, my tt was june 14th and i too feel like im not recovering as quickly as some of the other ladies. I think i just expected to heal faster than i have. I also do not sleep well at night. I am still sleeping on my back and wear the cg most of the time. Its becoming my security blanket, lol. My swelling is most noticeable in the afternoon and especially during the evening. Do you by chance get that feeling of fullness in your belly from the swelling? Im hoping its normal :(. Anyway i look forward to hearing more about your recovery....
