Two months post surgery

WORTH IT
Just wanted to post a few more pictures. I did use the snap chat filter in previous pics, mostly because my kids just taught me how to use it and it was new and fun, but these are all with my iPhone regular camera, completely untouched and no filters.

Looking very youthful. Love your hair!! Omg. It's sooo thick and beautiful
OMG GORGEOUS!!
Thank you!!!
You look absolutely amazing. Can I ask how much it cost??
19200 covered everything. Anesthesiologist, surgery facility, etc...
Well it was worth it! To love seeing what you see every day in the mirror is well worth it.....
Absolutely!
Stunning! I really want this but scare stories on here and frightened me. Now after reading your progress I have hope again. You look absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations!
Thank you! As far as scary goes... believe me, I’m the biggest chicken. I get hives when I sit in grass and pick weeds. Nearly everything gives me a reaction... so, yeah... I was scared, too! But nothing was worse than watching my neck sprout more and more of those disgusting vertical turkey things! And I decided it’s now or just let everything go to hell! And I didn’t want to have that happen. It’s amazing how determined one can get! The one thing I never did was delve into a lot of online material on facelifts. I did read reviews, yes; however, I refused to look at any graphic videos or try to find negative reviews or bad reactions, etc.
I faced the fact we can get killed falling out of bed. Any surgery can feel scary but knowing how wonderful the results can be on this type of elective surgery was more exciting for me in the end than scary. When I look at my before pics now... I am sooooo relieved I did this!!! Good luck, and feel free to ask me any question you’d like!

Two months later—better everyday!

Hello, just wanted to post an update at the two month mark. Everything seems to be right on schedule. Healing has been great, and all the things that were explained to me, and were a touch worrisome, are really not that big of a deal. Like the tightness and numbness. I’ve grown used to it; however, it will be nice when it subsides. About the only thing that concerned me was my lips and smile. It has been a little funky and crooked right up till recently. Although it’s not 100% symmetrical, it’s getting better, so that gives me encouragement that it will soon be completely normal. Other than that, I’m ecstatic with the results! And I would not hesitate to do it again! I never wanted to look different; I just wanted to look like I used to. Well, within reason. And that’s what Dr. Quatela achieved! I am considering a little filler in my lips; mostly because I have never been happy with how thin they are. Plus the vertical lines are kind of annoying.

Look very nice. Careful with facial contortions as situation will return sooner rather than later ...
Not sure what you mean by facial contortions?
I think you look fantastic! I am almost 3 weeks out and am very pleased but my smile is a little wonky on the right side. If I smile and don't show my teeth it looks normal but when I have a big smile I feel like the bottom right lip is going down and it is tight but the top right lip is normal. I'm not to worried now because so new. Have you been doing any facial exercises or anything to try and get your smile back to normal? I'm wondering if I need to be doing anything besides icing. I can't tell your smile is off. I think you look great.

You look amazing!

13 days post

Day 13–all stitches out.

Barely any pain, just numbness and tightness, which is totally expected and doable! Noticing subtle changes daily. Still so glad about my neck, it’s amazing!! I’m thinking about doing a little bit of fillers in my lips, they’ve always been very thin. Not sure yet...

you look beautiful... I'm 9 weeks post op, still have swelling but it's getting better
You look fantastic! Did you get an upper or lower bleph? Just the temporal lift? It looks great. What did they put on your forehead and why? Did they give you botox so you wouldn't move your forehead? I'm thinking about a brow lift, but not sure which one. Thanks in advance for responding and for posting!
As far as I know I had the full face lift, neck lift, and the temporal lift. Not sure what all the tape was about on my forehead. No Botox or any other fillers. Yet. Thinking about maybe a touch in my lips, they’ve always been rather thin. I wasn’t going to do the temporal, but now glad that I did while they were doing everything else! Well worth the brightening of the eyes! I’m very happy, 15 days post surgery. Things will loosen up as the weeks go by... but hopefully not too much! I feel very tight and expect to for awhile; but knew this going in, and I’m okay with it. Worth it! Thank you for the compliment! And keep posting on what you’ll be doing!
Thank you! I don’t feel as swollen as much as just feeling tight. I guess a little in the jawline and cheeks. My smile is still kinda weird but getting better every day! Keep in touch!
Hi. I have the same neck issue you had in the before pic you circled with red pen. Do you have a no makeup no filter after pic of the same area with the same angle?
