Awesome Experience With Dr. Arif, Mustafa and the Team - Facelift & Revision Rhinoplasty
Background Information - This is a detailed review for anyone who resides outside Turkey and is considering Dr. Arif for their cosmetic needs. I reside in North America so naturally I was hesitant to go alone, all the way to Turkey, for a surgery. Getting the visa, and preparing for the trip was a lengthy (but worth it) process.
Procedure - I had a temporal facelift, canthopexy and a revision rhinoplasty done to enhance my eye area. Dr. Arif's work is mostly focused around body aesthetics which honestly made me a bit hesitant (since my need is focused on facial aesthetics) but due to his extensive experience and reassurance from his team, I took the decision to proceed.
Pre-Surgery Experience - I had a hotel reservation and transfer service booked by the doctor's team. The initial consultation happened in a luxurious hospital. The doctor doesn't speak English quite well but Mustafa (doctor's assistant) was able to translate my expectations clearly. The doctor gave me honest feedback on how I should expect the results to be and if I wanted something else done in specific. At this stage, I suggest having a photoshopped image of yourself to better communicate the look that you wish to have. Most of my emphasis was to look natural and not overdone.
Post Surgery Experience - The first few days were very slow. The doctor's team took great care of my with regular check-ups every 30 mins. The food served was great and the hospital room was pretty similar to a hotel room. The first week will almost make you a little depressed due to the swelling but hang in there!
Outcome - As of today, I am approaching the end of second week post surgery, the results are awesome and the swelling is reducing day by day. My nose looks very natural even after a revision rhinoplasty while my eyes look dynamic. My dark circles are completely gone and I'm loving my front profile.
Recommendation - I highly recommend Dr. Arif and his team for your facial cosmetic procedures. Special thanks to Mustafa for coordinating everything quite well.
