Temporal Brow Lift

WORTH IT
I have a temporal brow lift scheduled with my plastic surgeon, Dr. Iliana SWEIS , on January 23rd. I've been under her care for the past 20 years and have had many successful surgeries with her. The lift will be performed in her pristine medical office.
My main concern with my brows is the fact that they are "hooding" the upper eyelids. The lift will place the brows in an alert and more youthful position.
It also addresses the horizontal lines that develop across the forehead as well the wrinkles between the eyes.
I will keep you all updated with this journey with more photos and information.

I can’t wait to see your results. I too am starting to experience similar issues. Is this surgery done without anaesthetic?

It's done with local anesthesia!! The surgery should take no more than 90 minutes??? I'm sure I'll feel the tugging sensation. Yuk

Yeah the picture is so awesome. Did you have a glam squad for the wedding or did you do your own makeup? If so, wowza, you look great! I can see the brows in a higher position looking better, but it is hard to see any lid hooding from this pic. Not saying it isn't there. The temporal brow surgery should be fine under local. Now an endoscopic brow lift under local would be a different story.

I had someone do both the makeup and hair. Too bad I can't look that glamorous everyday lol. Yes, the positioning of higher brows will give me a refreshing look. The hooding is not that obvious in this photo... but sans all of the makeup... you'd see what I'm referencing to. Thx for your kindness, as usual.

Local anaesthesia? Easy peasy! That sounds like my type of surgery.

Awww thank you. That was taken at my daughter's wedding. You can see the eyebrows can use some "lifting"!!

Girl, your "before" looks like a runway model, for real-gorgeous! I do not see lines anywhere, but maybe Botox erased them? Anyway, you know what improvement you're seeking, and it will be beautiful!

Ha. The makeup artist was phenomenal at improving any imperfections in this above photo. It's the brows that need the lifting and area around the eyes and between the eyes. But, thx for the sweet compliment.

As a voyeur Ive been watching the amazing transformation of this lady. She obviously knows what she wants and how to make it happen. This PS is such an artist. I wish I was brave enough to her have do the work that I know needs to be done. Im just a chicken. Id have no doubt the surgery would be exactly what it'd want. Keep on your journey because its been a huge success!!!

Hi there! Long time no hear!! Yes, I'm on another journey, and I appreciate you following along. Dr. S is definitely an artist... my Picasso! I have the most respect and loyalty to her!

I too have been watching the amazing transformation! Dr. Sweis exemplifies the best character of a plastic surgeon. Everything I have seen is perfection. I would be willing to travel from Australia to get any procedure done by her

Hi there. If you ever make it to the states, you should consider having a consultation with her. I know you travel often, and like Chicago.... give it a thought!!!!

There’s no holding Dr. SWEIS back! She’s got magic in her bones.
This cute turkey had unruffled feathers…. Until she met up with the Doc. Nothing a little Botox can’t fix. Lol

Hahah! ;) I wonder if the turkey gets a discount for volume "smoothers"?!?! I wish I could!

Just display your feathers.. and go from there?!!
November 17, 2022
Yes!!!!! Girlie peacock prancing around here! Of course, a turkey neck and ruffly brow would have me marching to doc’s office prior to prancing!

Ha. I'll be " raising brow " watching you do the peacock prance dance!!
November 21, 2022
Randi, I didn't know you could have Botox before the brow lift. Good to know!!

Yes, I had Botox last month. I believe I'll need it immediately following the surgery to keep the muscles tight.

I forgot to add to this photo... This turkey had ruffled feathers... Until Dr. SWEIS smoothed it out!!

OMG, too cute! Well I had a brow lift surgery last year in November. Mine was the endoscopic brow lift. It wasn't under local though because it wasn't just the temporal lift. the temporal lift won't be bad at all under local. Your brow tails will be higher and you will be so happy. it isn't a bad recovery at all.

I'm aware of the recovery... had it done five years ago. I just bruised and felt real tightness for awhile. Nothing horrible. Obviously.... I'm doing it again. Lol
November 19, 2022
Oh, i didn't know you had one already. So, you should be good to go knowing what to expect.

Yes, I well aware of what's in store for me. Not in the least concerned. My doc is at the helm and knows how to handle any discomfort that I encounter. But, thx for your input. Happy holidays.

No anesthetic is such a bonus! Im ok with a tugging sensation as long as there is no pain!

Zazena... my cute Australian friend!! Yep, I have a high pain tolerance and going with local anesthesia is just fine. A little... no gain?!?!
