WORTH IT
I'm very confident in Dr. Chapple. He has suggested a mini tt instead of the full with no muscle repair. He will do some lipo contouring to correct a botched lipo.

I can't believe how amazing I feel. So much energy. I can run, jump, lie on my stomach, hug deeply and feel the water going all down when I drink. It's amazing. I can also breath deeper. I never knew how much implants take out of your life.
I'm still wearing sports bras and that feels best. I got measured today. I'm a 38C! Yippee. That's a lot smaller than a DDD. I feel freeeee! My breast look really good. I had one side under the muscle and one over. That's what I came out of surgery with so I guess that's what the PS decided on in surgery. My breast that's under the muscle has more side boob even though to look strait on they look great, perked up etc. I'm not sure if they are still healing and adhearing back to the chest wall. I imagine there is still more healing to come. They feel so nice and squishy too and they are all mine! It's such an amazing feeling. Also, I don't even notice them anymore like I used to. They are just a natural part of my body. I thought I would lost my femininity but I didn't at all. As a matter of fact not one person even noticed! If you're on the fence about this jump down and run over to your PS and take these toxic bags out of your body. Your poor body will thank you for it. No more fighting the foreign objects on your chest.

Congratulations on your explant. I'm so happy for you!
Did you end up doing it under local or general anesthesia?

Thanks brwneyedgrl! I had local and was literally there 1 hr. from the time I walked in. It went great. I was told by another ps that I had bad capsule contraction. Dr. Chapple said it could just be so squished in there as they ride up. He was right! So it was a simple explant. I'm 5 months now and feeling amazing!

Oh, thank you so much! I'm so ready to have these out but I'm super nervous to be awake...I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
It's kind of scary. I know I can do it and that the wait is probably the worst of it but I'm a wreck lol

Oh! You don't feel a thing! I was lying down and went into a sleep state w/ Dr. holding my hand. Awe...
I felt great! I did not feel a single thing. Really, nothing scary about it. I have heard some girls get some kind of local numbing to the area and feel everything. I think this twilight sleep is so much better. It's given in an IV and you just feel like you're having a wonderful nap and then you're up and on your way. I slept the whole way home (2 hrs.) in the car. It was great! You are going to feel like you're 20 again after getting these out. I'm so happy for you!

Thank you so much! My PS said he'll be giving my a shot of something in my hip plus a Valium before he numbs me up. I'm hoping this will be good enough to cause me to relax and not feel a thing. I'm so excited to be getting them out, just wish my nerves would go away lol. I'm really happy for you. You sound like you're on top of the world :)

Oh, don't be nervous. I'm sure your ps will take great care of you. You should be very relaxed with the Valium and shot. Besides, it will all be over and you're be the old you again. Running, jumping, playing, hugging deeply, sleeping on your tummy and back. It's all good!

I'm so excited for you! It's lifechanging. I was actually surprised at how my breasts were perky right after. They looked a little sad but perky. I guess you expect the worst. I've seen changes over the months and know I'm still healing. You will be able to tell that too. They look great. I'm lifting weights no problem. I'm jumping in my cardio classes which I couldn't do that before comfortably. Oh, and the energy! It's crazy how much energy you will have when you're body's not working on trying to get rid of the foreign objects. You will actually feel you're body is happy. : ) You will also glow. It's kind of like when you're sick and you don't looks as good in the face. Then when you're better you look good again. It's like that. You will glow. Of course I'm talking about after a couple of weeks of laying low.

And don't feel guilty about the time lost with them. Before you know it you will forget they existed. You'll be freeeeeee!!!

And don't feel like you will loose your sexuality or femininity. You don't lose that. You can't. I was afraid of that. The odd thing is that no body even noticed! I went from a 600cc DDD to a C cup. You're still you and still beautiful just with smaller boobs.

So, you'll also be right in style. :) It's a win win. Good timing style gurus!

I feel better and better all the time. I started cardio/dance after 1.5 weeks. It was fun but draining. I can tell I'm still healing but feeling really good at this point. Love my new (old) breasts! I can't tell you how good it feels. So much more energy! It's so cool to breath deeply and not feel any wheezing. It's so much lighter too. Dancing is amazing now. So light in the chest makes for better posture. I still have to be easy using my upper body as I'm still healing. Love my breasts! Did I say that already? :) They look really good. I am wearing really comfy sports bras or no bra. I think I'm a small C or large B and I love it. They are already firming up. I've been massaging in the shower and using coconut oil. Scar is soft and I don't even feel it. I removed my stitches day 9. They were starting to itch. I felt my body was ready to have them out too. Felt no itching after removal. Healing great, loving them and I really encourage everyone to engage in this love affair with their body. It's so freeing!

Dancing!!! You better calm yourself a bit!!! I agree I love my smaller albeit saggy breasts...my only complaint is the asymmetry I'm left with but on the upside...can't tell at all in a bra!! So happy for your stellar results!

You'll be dancing too dh60. Not now though! Your strength will come back slowly. It feels slow but really it's only a few weeks. You have stellar results too! You will most likely get a bit smaller as I did but they seem to firm up too so it's great! Love my sports bras. It's so much easier without all that weight on the chest! Woohoo! Freedom!

Hand me tips on massaging please. No one except for one ps wanted to carry out an explant here. Im from central europe. I don't even know whether my ps has ever explanted. Thank god hes been in business for 20 years, and runs a thriving clinic. He operates a lot so im counting he knows a lot. Hasn't given me any information on post explant behavior that could help recovery

Explant is super easy. I did not get any instructions on massage. I just did a little in the shower. No problem. Your body will lead you. Right now the implants are making your body numb to the area and what's needed. You will feel so different after explant. It's just a simple cut and pulling out the bags. Your own body will get rid of the capsule etc. All the best to you! You will be thrilled! Post explant is just rest, rest, rest. NO lifting or even laundry. Get someone to help lift everything for a couple of weeks. You will still feel weekness at 3 weeks but will be able to do everything. Take it easy and love yourself. You will be thrilled!!!

thank you for writing it. I started to imagine tissues pulled and ripped apart yesterday and felt pretty uneasy. i am not going to go there again. I am supposed to have some internal stitching as I have near synmastia ( but not real synmastia THANK GOD) and it disturbs me a bit I am choosing to believe that my ps who performs a lot knows how to sew!

There is already a pocket there for the implant so it's just a matter of going in through the scar tissue that is already there. My ps replaced that scar which was hard and now it's just very soft. The implant just slips out. Then the area has to adhere back which takes some healing time. I can tell you that your body will be so grateful not to have to fight off these huge foreign objects. You will see that as your energy level goes to new heights, (22 again).
