For years I have weighed the pros and cons of getting a breast augmentation. Being the only woman in my family with "petite breasts" and recovering from a hormone imbalance, I felt very boy-like and was very self-conscious about my body. I have wanted a breast augmentation since I was around 16 years old, but continually put it off due to the input and advice of doctors and family (in the hopes they would eventually grow themselves). As I got closer and closer to my 23rd birthday, and after having melt-down after melt-down every time I went shopping for clothes, bras or swimsuits, I decided it was time to schedule a consultation. After researching and comparing doctors for over a week, I set up a few appointments to meet and discuss the procedure. The first appointment I had was with Dr. Temmen. Upon arriving for my consultation, I wasn't really sure what to expect. Everyone at her office was so polite, happy and helpful. I was given a tour of the facility, shown pictures of previous patient's results and was able to feel the difference between the types of implants. After that ,Natalia (my consultant), told me that Dr. Temmen would be in shortly to answer any/all questions I had. Dr. Temmen sat with me for over 45min, listening and answering every question and concern. She made it clear that she wanted me to be confident in making a decision and not to have any doubt. She took measurements and left me try on implants to see which would fit my body type/see which one's I preferred. Her team discussed the costs with me and told me to think it over before making a decision (which really stood out to me, since most places nowadays make you feel extremely pressured) When I left my consultation that day I cancelled my other appointments, because I knew I didn't want anyone else but Dr. Temmen to be my doctor. I am now 2 months post-op and I have never been more happy with my body. The healing process has been easy and the incision sights are very well hidden. Each time I go in for my post-op followups Dr. Temmen's team is always so nice and so excited to see how I'm healing/looking. Dr. Temmen is by far the nicest, most caring and most "real" doctor I have ever been to. You can tell she truly has a passion for what she does. She cares about the results she gives and doesn't treat you as if you're "just another patient". You being thrilled with your results makes her happy. She proudly stands behind her work --which she rightly should, since her results are so beautiful. Dr. Temmen made my dreams come true and helped me get the body I've been wanting to years. I've never been this confident and in love with my body...and it's all thanks to Dr. Temmen and her team!
