Hi all, thanks for your comments, i've had a lot of requests to add photos of my nose, so have just posted two recent photos

I was looking for a good revision rhinoplasty...
I was looking for a good revision rhinoplasty specialist 7months ago, when I came across Dr Farshid Mahboubirad's profile on INSTAGRAM. I was very excited to have found the right surgeon and immediately paid a deposit & had my revision done, something that I would be regretting for the rest of my life, every single day! He is nothing but advertisement, my nose is now too short, upturned, too small, crooked and ugly. Please be careful not to be deceived by his advertisements, he did an operation on Rodrigo Alves for free in return he's advertising about him on INSTA as well. I have noticed that a lady in the USA has recently become his representative as well so she can get commission. this is why I felt there was a need to write this review so people from other counties can read this before making a wrong decision like I did.
His bedside manner was next to zero, I actually fainted in front of the mirror when the splint was taken off, he did not bother to take one step towards me and just stood there! when I came around I asked him if the big lump above my nose was just swelling, to which all he had to say was a simple Yes or No but instead he said: " I don't answer any questions before 6 months "!!! I was absolutely shocked by his manner, then he actually made me to pay for every single visit after the operation, he did not take any notes down on my file, did not take any pictures post-op and just said to go back to him after 6months!!! I then had to visit other surgeons to have my questions answered, they were all shocked to see the result of my surgery!

I endorse u on all of the above, he invests in advertising more than any other surgeons in the world! His whole team are unprofessional & fake! I hated every single minute of being in his disgusting office

Hi darling . He is famous for making girls nose like barbi or dolls nose !! He is not good surgeon and for a natural nose he is the worst senario !!! I got realy sad that i heard of your story and u should be calm and search for a good surgeon which is appropriate for reconstruction of your nose . Did u do your revision yet ?? With same or another surgeons ? Yours
Anyway there r manu good surgeons in iran for natural nose ! I realy dont know why u did with him !! Most of surgeons have page in instagram too

Omg I fly out tomorrow for my nosejob from uk to him . Now I am very very worried . I do like barbie cute look have big fake boobs ect but very worried it will be OTT now . Could I see pictures please?? Thanks and sorry to hear you are so unhappy x
Google search 'Rodrigo Alves nose job' to see what happened to him after he had his revision done with Dr Mahboubirad, he's got an infection that is eating into his face! He is looking for a good surgeon to fix it.. You should have done more research

Hi there! I haven't had my nose done by him though I am considering him for my revision. I do know ppl living in Tehran who advised me on who the best nose surgeons are etc. I think it has to be very clear for anyone considering Dr. Mahboubirad for nose surgery that he is considering to be a very skilled surgeon in Tehran but for a specific kind of nose: he is good for anyone looking to get a nose twice smaller (which is my case) or anyone after a fake-looking barbie upturned nose, but he is NOT the right surgeon to turn to if you want minor changes to be done to your nose.
Other doctors in iran (hosnani, ali manafi etc) would be a much better choice if you want a subtil change. Hope it helps anyone looking to do surgery in Tehran
please note, I have since had a surgery with him and have now a deformity on my nose. I definitely regret posting this comment a few months ago
Sorry to hear that, well.. we should always listen to other people's experience, I haven't been able to get a revision done yet, as my nose has not healed yet, despite being 15 months post-op, other horrible thing about Dr Farshid that people don't know is that he cuts and reduces the size of nose turbinates which are responsible for filtering and moistening the air we inhale through our nose, so once they are cut there are too many complications involved it damages the lungs so people who had surgery with him will all end up with lung disease in the future and will never know it was his fault, this is really sad but true, I can't believe surgeons like him are allowed to perform surgeries
WOW. How scary. Do you know if your nose turbinates were cut?
