Zoom Teeth Whitening is definitely NOT nearly as...

Zoom Teeth Whitening is definitely NOT nearly as bad as you read on the internet. I almost cancelled the appt. I had today because of what I was reading last night. I think it must really depend on the dentist you go to and how well they prepare you for the bleaching sessions. First off, I hear many people complain about the apparatus that the dentist uses to keep your lips away from your teeth so that your teeth and only your teeth get the bleaching solution on them. It was not at all bad. Slightly annoying but I wouldn't go as far to say it was uncomfortable or painful. Just something that you're not used to having in your mouth. Secondly, my dentist tediously prepared my gums so they would not be effected by the bleaching solution. So, I have absolutely NO problems with my gums - no blisters, redness, swelling like you may have heard other people say. I am not sure what dentists the people went to who complained about the bleach getting all over their gums. Next, I have heard about burning, excruciating pain, and "zingers". I didn't have any burning or pain, again, I think this has to do with the preparation. If you go to a reputable dentist he/she will prepare you for the procedure. I did have a couple of zinger during the last (third) 15 minute session. And I have had a few throughout the day (I had it done at noon today and now it is 11 pm). But they are really not that bad. Unless, you have a really low threshhold for pain you should be able to get through these. They are not painful, more annoying if anything. But I was able to eat and drink (of course, not staining things that were on the do not eat list like coffee, cola, red wine, red sauce, soy sauce, berry pie).
And now for the best part. My teeth are soooo white. I went up five shades. I cannot stop looking in the mirror. In summary, it was DEFINITELY worth the money and the procedure. It is not as bad as people say. Really! Just make sure you go to a reputable dentist who has done the procedure regularly for a long time. I asked the dentist before the procedure and you should, too!!
