How are veneers attached to your teeth? Are they super thin? Do you need to get used to the feel of them? They look so great.
Hi Miniscule! Veneers are attached with some extremely strong glue, like they use for crowns! They file your original teeth down to a very very thin layer and you leave with temporary teeth on. After your first visit you come back for a technician to match the color up. Third visit is ....THE VENEERS! They feel fine, it’s just the sensitivity to things (cold, hot) that takes a bit of time. I use a special toothpaste which helps with the sensitivity. It’s so worth it! I’m honest... not painful at all.
It's the filing of the teeth that sends a shiver down my spine. Eeekk!! Thank you for explaining what is involved. It is something I have been thinking about. I'll think some more on it.
Ha ha. Let me tell you something, I’m a weak stomach lady, and just the thought of filing down teeth made me nauseous. But, you get a numbing shot (duh) and you don’t feel a thing! I put my headphones on, and just chilled out!!!

I’m in Veneer Heaven!

Omg! These two veneers came out just perfect. I was in the dentist chair for almost 2 hours. Phewww. But.... so worth it!
No more chipped teeth. I still have to be on guard with eating hard food, because they can still crack. It’s so nice smiling now, and not seeing chips in my teeth.

Try Rembrandt toothpaste, bojangles turned me on to it. Also opal essence tooth whitening on amazon, check if you can do with veneers. I watched Dominique Sachse on you tube for her whitening secrets.

Four More Days Until My Veneers!

Hoooooray, I’ve been very diligent in eating soft food, in fear of my temporary crowns falling off.
I’m down the homestretch and I’m SO excited to see the new me!! No more chipped front teeth. I’ll post some photos on Friday.
