TCA Cross 4 months ago & still have dark patches - PIH/scarring?

I had tca cross 4 months back by certified dermatologist but still I am having dark patches/demarcation on face where tca was performed. Not sure is it scarring or PIH. Dr has prescribed sunscreen spf 50+, moisturiser, epithelial Ultra AH and Vitamin C + zinc tablets. No improvements so far. I am afraid to do any peeling or laser procedure now. Please suggest topical/creams to get rid of these dark marks immediately and to get my normal skin.
