Not worth it - melasma comes back

Midst of summer now. I have my full-face melasma back. Everyday though I have used sunblock. Treatment was a waste of money and time and self care....

I would say don't waste money and believe doctors that say they can fix your skin... nothing really helps

Day 17 - not worth it

Hi, just getting back to you after more than two weeks. My hiperpigmentation came back, in spite of constantly using SPF50+ and in spite of being mid winter! I am afraid that in summer, it will be worse.

This treatment has been not worth it. Like a dermatologist once said to me: you can do any treatment but the hyperpigmentatiom will come back after a wile and maybe with a vengeance. (Which I naturally did not want to believe). Sorry for everyone with melasma or hyperpigmentation. Save your money for a good SPF cream instead.

Day 12

The initial boost effect has gone. Some pigment stains came back. If I compare with before the TCA peel, I can still see some positive results, but my melasma keeps being visible. This in spite of putting on SPF50+ every few hours. I really don't think this procedure is worth the money I paid.

Service could be a lot better. Did not inform me about real perspectives or side effects after TCA. I called the receptionist a dozen times for different information about the treatment and my bill, but there always seemed to be major chaos in the office. At my check-up at 14 days, the docter gave me a tretoine cream that gave me an allergic reaction. At day 17 now, I see my hyperpigmentation came back. (People who are considering this treatment, please note!) I really don't want to call this docter anymore because I feel he wouldn't care.
