posting some pics

I haven't posted in a while, just wanted to post some pics and give a quick update.

I'm not wearing my binder during the day but find I like it at night, it helps so much with swelling. I'm still swelling on my left side and upper abdomen. The swelling is firm.

I had some issues with ingrown hairs and spitting stitches but my doctor addressed them quickly and they healed quickly.

I'm still very tight in my belly from below my breast to my public area, almost feels like the tightening I had when I was very pregnant with my kids. It can be very uncomfortable especially if I sit for a long time at work and don't get up and move.

I find it difficult to let my scar gel dry completely since I'm always on the go with the kids and work, you know, busy with life! I'm thinking about getting the silicone tape to try.

Hope everyone is well!! :)

Some pics, 13 days post-op...

Second post-op appt...

Saw my PS today. Everyone in the office is so kind and going there is always wonderful. My PS said I'm doing great. I feel really good.

We discussed my concerns with the new bruising above my incision and below my belly button and he said its normal and ok. I was very worried because it didn't start for a full week after my procedure and was never dark like a bruise, only green. Because of the bruising and my draining being right at 30 ml's in a 24 hr period he decided to keep my drain in for one more week, which I'm fine with. I'd rather all that liquid has an easy out that's not my incision!! So foam and binder with my drain for one more week.

He had the nurse put tape on the incisions under my breasts and taught me how to move them, up, down, in, and out. He said do it 2-3 times a day. I really love how they came out!!

He checked my stomach muscles, took the glue off my belly button and incision where is was soft. We discussed my belly button, it's cute and little but so foreign to me....he said I had almost no stalk when he put my muscles back together...very interesting!!

Anyways, thought I'd post an update, hope everyone is well!! I have two jobs for the next week, stand up straight and move the boobs!!
