Bye bye, Tattoo

Nearly finished.

I have lost count of how many sessions I have gone to. I would guess around 15. At this point, the majority of the tattoo is gone. There is still some minor scaring where the fine triangle lines were, with minimal ink in the lines. I have been spacing my most recent sessions 6-months apart from one another. I will likely go to one or two more sessions since I have paid for unlimited sessions until it's gone, but at this point, I believe that the sessions are really doing too much.

Overall I am very happy with the process and would do it again.

For anyone considering tattoos (which I still love), my recommendation would be to take with someone with first-hand knowledge of the artist's abilities and process. Instagram photos can be misleading and highly curated.

Six treatment in the books.

Seeing the before and after each time I go in for a treatment is always refreshing and reassuring. This most recent treatment was 4 months between the last because of the holiday season, and I get sick and was on antibiotics for a few weeks.
Slowly but surely things are progressing. I'm optimistic and am guessing that I'm about 1/2-2/3 of the way finished. Let's hope so. :)

I reckon you are going well. I think it's good clearance for the amount of treatments.

Yes, feeling good about the progress.

Thanks for sharing the process. I am about to go for my 5th treatment for 6 different tattoo's. It's good to see what the process looks like on somebody else. And indeed this gives hope, as it's pretty similar to a couple of mine.

It's good to see the progress with the side-by-side photos. Although they estimated 8 treatments total, I think based on the current progress we're looking at about 12-14 treatments. Maybe more. People are starting to comment and ask about the tattoo fading.

Is there any white ink in this tattoo? I’m wondering since it’s turning brownish color

It's part of the process. Black to brown to removed...

No white ink.

No white. From my understanding, the black turns slightly brownish as it fades.

No, it was all black.
