Tattoo Removal Success

Tattoo Removal Success

WORTH IT$150
I got a tattoo just below my collarbone that I instantly hated right after getting. I went through multiple sessions of laser tattoo removal, seeing results but ultimately knew that it was going to take a long time for the ink to be out of my skin. I had done my research and found that although it’s not as common, that Dermabrasion tattoo removal could be an option for my skin type. I know my body and skin type, and over the years having undergone surgeries and being in motorcycles accidents with deep wounds in my skin they have healed well with little to no scarring. I had laser treatments up to until the tattoo was very faded, and then I decided on Dermabrasion removal. At first, the area looked really raw and it was painful for 2 weeks during the healing process. It remained red and inflamed for a few months but I took very good care of it, using vitamin E oil and mederma scar gel to prevent it from scarring and to see faster results. I still have little particles of ink left in my skin that I will eventually get lasered off easily, but I have been really lucky with my healing process. I wanted faster results and that’s why I chose to get Dermabrasion, but I wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone. Laser tattoo removal is an exhausting process but it DOES work. It just takes time. I understand all your pain and frustration and I know you just want it to go away but the most important thing I’ve learned on this journey is that time heals all, and patience goes a long way. So don’t give up! And also - fuck what other people think. You should love you’re body and the skin you are in no matter what. We are all beautiful and it took me all this time and money just to realize that tattoo or no tattoo, that I am beautiful. Here are some photos of my new skin! Tattoo free! (mostly/still healing 2 months later)

Congrats on your success, looks great!

I loved everything about your story, and the journey you went through. I hope to say the same thing one day, but you really inspired me to really realize that patience is KEY.
Patience is definitely key. And don’t give up hope! Manifest good energy and good things and tell your body that you will heal and I’m sure that you will
thank you so much, I appreciate this so much!
Ultimately it’s up to you to love your body. Just remember that tattoo or not, you are beautiful and what other people think shouldn’t matter to you. You are only given one body, why waste time hating it?? I understand you completely and fully about being self conscious, as I went to great extremes to remove my tattoo. But all the stress and anxiety and fear of being judged is all things you produce on your own. Idk about you but Im sick of hating my body !
But if you do choose laser removal, it does work. Things that can help speed up the process are lots of exercise, drinking water, eating healthy, and avoiding any smoking or drinking. The ink will fade quicker if you choose a healthy and more active lifestyle (almost as if you’re sweating it out)
thank you so much, this really helped me so much. your words, as of right now I've been seeing a therapist for a year now, but sadly I still am so depressed and full of anxiety. I realize that no amount of therapy is going to get rid of my tattoo. But slowly am going to love myself again...
do you mind me asking, what laser they used on you?
I have actually started going to therapy recently too and I think it’s helping. I’ve had a kind of Body Dysmorphic disorder since I was little and I’m happy I’m addressing it now. It takes time. I hope you find peace and learn to love yourself, as I am still in the process and hope one day I will. Just know you’re not alone
They used Q-switch laser and I went every 2 weeks to get it done (even though they suggested longer, as I think results are better). I would look in to getting yours done 4 times in one session if you could. I did that once (but i was in India) and it faded MUCH faster. I think he laser is called R10?
Honestly I did my sessions all while traveling in India (it was only $40 per session) vs in the US it’s a lot more. But again. This took away from the fact I was traveling and going to these amazing places yet I was still concerned over my tattoo.... I wish I had learned to love it from the beginning
How did you find someone who would do dermabrasion?
Hi. Would you recon the picoway to be a better laser removal?
I ma so happy as your images look like you never had a tattoo.
I am waiting on the same results but only laser treatments
and everyone says to wait at least 6 weeks in between?
