Tattoo Removal Success
I got a tattoo just below my collarbone that I instantly hated right after getting. I went through multiple sessions of laser tattoo removal, seeing results but ultimately knew that it was going to take a long time for the ink to be out of my skin. I had done my research and found that although it’s not as common, that Dermabrasion tattoo removal could be an option for my skin type. I know my body and skin type, and over the years having undergone surgeries and being in motorcycles accidents with deep wounds in my skin they have healed well with little to no scarring. I had laser treatments up to until the tattoo was very faded, and then I decided on Dermabrasion removal. At first, the area looked really raw and it was painful for 2 weeks during the healing process. It remained red and inflamed for a few months but I took very good care of it, using vitamin E oil and mederma scar gel to prevent it from scarring and to see faster results. I still have little particles of ink left in my skin that I will eventually get lasered off easily, but I have been really lucky with my healing process. I wanted faster results and that’s why I chose to get Dermabrasion, but I wouldn’t recommend it to just anyone. Laser tattoo removal is an exhausting process but it DOES work. It just takes time. I understand all your pain and frustration and I know you just want it to go away but the most important thing I’ve learned on this journey is that time heals all, and patience goes a long way. So don’t give up! And also - fuck what other people think. You should love you’re body and the skin you are in no matter what. We are all beautiful and it took me all this time and money just to realize that tattoo or no tattoo, that I am beautiful. Here are some photos of my new skin! Tattoo free!
