Session 5 Update 3/15/21

WORTH IT$400
I always forget how far I’ve come until I look back! This is the progress so far after 5 sessions. I took this today, March 15, 2021. I typically take 3 to 6 months between sessions. Session 6 coming this summer.

Hey sorry if I missed it- how old was your tattoo before you began the removal process? Congrats btw looks great
Thank you! The tattoos were about 18 years old when I started in 2019 & the laser is an Evo Q plus C.
Also what laser was used?

Session 5

I had my 5th session on 12/26/20. Swelling and small blisters on day 1 & 2. Pitting edema on days 3-6. Everything is healing up nicely as of today 1/3/21. I will post an update with pictures in a few weeks.

How's the pain right in the elbow ditch? My tattoo covers that area and it was spicy getting it done so worry it'll be even spicier to remove!
Great fading so far, congrats
Thanks it really is coming along. The elbow doesn’t seem worse than other parts of my arm as far as the removal. I know what you mean about getting it tattooed though! The only problem I’ve had there was the pitting edema. My elbow got so swollen it turned to mush. Fortunately it only lasted a couple of days & she said it was normal & to keep it elevated. Have you started your journey yet?
Ah that's useful to know, thanks.
I've started removing a smaller tattoo on my wrist and not had any swelling or much difficulty healing. I'm working up to removing my elbow ditch tattoo (which is only months old, in colour and covering some old faded script - basically quite a few problems for removal!). Was hoping to start on this next month but now the UK has gone back into lockdown so maybe later in the spring
You sound like me with all these things I’m trying to fix! I have several I need covered but have to do some removal before I can. They’re pretty old (15-20 years) but they dark & colorful. Right now I’m just trying to focus on this bottom half sleeve.

Itching phase

If you’ve reached the itching phase of your tattoo removal session and all of your blisters are completely healed up, do yourself a favor and go to the store and buy you one of these kitchen scrubbers. I don’t push down hard but I just kind of glide it over the areas that are itching. I promise you’ll thank me later.
