Tattoo regret for 12 years - overjoyed with the results so far

I got this tattoo over 12 years go. It was absolutely nothing like the inspo photo I showed my tattoo artist. He created this art and I agreed stupidly because I didn't want to offend him. Worst mistake of my life. I haven't worn a bathing suit since and I feel so self conscious every time I look at it even after all these years I want to cry. I researched tattoo removal many years go but at that time no where in my area had a pico laser for the color. I went to a clinic and had shaded vines removed that went up my back. It is a large side piece but the bottom 2 roses is the part I hate. I had my first treatment on those roses 5 days ago and I have been overjoyed with the results so far. I am o committed to getting is of this I will be so thankful when it gone even if it takes 50 treatments.

This is an update -15 weeks after first session with fractat pico laser. Had second session two days ago and was extremely painful, waiting 15 weeks again until my 3rd session.
