I hate the placement of my tattoo. It ended up too big. It was impulsive and stupid.

I recently got a cherry blossom tattoo on the front of my shoulder and it goes down to my clavicle area. I hated it the moment I got it. I feel so stupid. It’s too visible of an area. I feel like I can’t wear tank tops and dresses anymore. I want to be able to wear whatever wedding dress I want in the future. I’m only 19 years old. The placement was the worst decision of my life. I can’t get a cover up because of the placement and it’s already too big. I want it completely removed. I’m worried about what my skin will look like after laser tattoo removal because of that area being so visible as it is. My tattoo is all black and grey ink and I have pretty fair skin, so I really hope it’s possible. I’m just worried because the tattoo is honestly pretty big. Please help! :(

dont worry! im sure that its possible, you already have an appointment with a doctor for an any laser treatment ??
I am about to be a sophomore in college, so I have to wait until I finish my degree to start laser tattoo removal. Meaning I have to live with this thing on my body for about another 3 years. I have so much anxiety over it. I don’t want to wear tank tops or dresses because of it. I don’t know what to do
Hi! I’m on the same boat here my tattoo is only about a month old and on my forearm I’m 21 and realized right away that it was too big for my petite body and want it gone. I’m hoping to remove it but am also worried about what my skin will look like afterwards. I’m also waiting since my tattoo is fairly new and only a couple weeks old. Please keep us updated on your journey and best of luck!
To be honest your tattoo looks nice. I know how you feel as I have had a tattoo that I hated since day 1 but trust me as time passes you’ll learn to accept it and if not just know that there’s always the possibility of laser tattoo removal. As mine was older it has faded almost completely after 3 sessions of picoway laser without leaving a scar or mark. Everything will be fine so don’t worry :)
Thank you! I have been getting used to it. I still don’t like it because it’s just not what I wanted. I wanted it to be a bit smaller and more detailed with more of an outlined look rather than the darker shading. And I think the flowers look crooked and really off. I got some advice from a close friend saying that I should go into another tattoo artist and ask what they can do to fix it up a bit. Maybe get some more detail on it so I might like it better. I will look into that option and hopefully I’ll like it better. Throughout this process I’ve realized that getting the tattoo itself was not a regret. I just went to the wrong artist and should’ve gone somewhere else. I’m glad that there is the option of removal though. I’m glad your experience with picoway worked out! Can I ask how big your tattoo was and how much the cost was for the picoway?
My tattoo was pretty big on my side it was two roses maybe the size of a DVD not the CD but the actual whole case and it cost $405 Canadian dollars plus tax which where I’m from the tax is 15% so it’s pretty pricey but it’s every 8 weeks and it really bothered me so it was worth it!
I think it's really pretty! I completely understand it's not what you had it mind, but i really like it!
Thank you! I wanted a smaller, dainty and outlined look. In my mind it looks like a really bad tattoo with shaky linework. But I need to start looking at it from a different perspective for now. I would still like to look into removal in the future. Thank you for the compliment though it makes me feel better!
I like it!
