I forgot to put in the description that Dr. Goldman didn't use laser, but surgical excision. This is the better option in my option in my opinion. It will leave a scar, but the tattoo will be completely removed with no traces.

Dr. Goldman Did a Good Job Removing my 2 Tattoos BUT...

In 2006 I approached Dr. Goldman told remove (2) tattoos, (1) from my chest and (1) from my arm. He initially charged me $2200. He removed the tattoo on the chest and removed 90% of the tattoo on the arm and he said because of circulation issues I would have to come back to get the rest of it removed at a later time for an additional $200. A year later in 2007 I also approached him to get a rhino/septoplasty and some liposuction. He turned around and said he wanted me to get a psych eval. Really?

I came back in 2019 to get the remaining part of the arm tattoo removed and he charge the price from $200 to $750. When he already charged me $2200 initially. I know prices go up over time but to raise the price from $200 to $750, especially after I already paid $2,200 for the procedure.

I don't appreciate him changing the price on me and saying that I need a psych eval just because I wanted to get other procedures done after I spent money with him. I will not be going back to this provider.

How big was the tattoo on your chest? I am going to Berman Skin Institute and have paid $400 for 5 laser sessions. She said she had to start on a low setting and I could not see any difference after the first session. I just had my second and she said she made it stronger, so I am crossing my fingers.
Do not go down the laser path. It's a waste of your time and money. I had 9 laser treatments form 3 different providers. It didn't work. Dr. Goldman used surgical excision to remove it. I should have put that in the review. It will leave a scare, but it will be done for good. The tattoo on my chest was large maybe 7 inches by 7 inches.
I thought that only small tattoos could be removed by excision? Yours was 7"x7"? Can you post before and afters? Thank you! :)
I really don't want to post a picture, but the 7"x7" wasn't a solid 7x7 there was a circle in the middle of it so he could bring the skin in from both directions. The thickness of the tattoo was maybe 1 1/2" but it was 7x7 overall shape.
