Update 4th Session

WORTH IT$1,800
Hey everyone, I haven’t been keeping up with RealSelf because I feel super insecure posting my progress so I deleted my pics. But so far so good! My tattoo has deff become lighter and is fading much more than I expected. I did my 4th session around June and I might do a 5th session towards the end of September or October because I got tan over the summer. I’m waiting to get my color back. I decided to switch providers because I wanted a second opinion on my progress and I felt my tattoo should be much lighter by now. But the second doctor I went to told me that there is nothing wrong with the way the tattoo is fading it’s just really dark which is why it’s taking so long. I might post pics again after my 5th session.

Before second session

This is my tattoo at 8 weeks from the first session. The dermatologist told me that the shading in the my tattoo must of had white ink which is why that area has turned brown/ darker. The picture doesn’t show that it is brown but in person it is a brown/ reddish color. I am scared that the shading will not be fully removed because there’s a possibility that white ink was used. I will post a pic once my tattoo has healed from the second session. Has anyone else experienced color change while their removal process? Also, a different doctor did my treatment this time, and I didn’t see any frosting afterwards. I asked why to one of the physicians assistant and she said that not always frosting will appear. Is this true? I would think that would be more towards the end of the process that you would see less frosting.

One week after first session

It’s been a week and it looks like the color of the tattoo is coming back. It looks brownish/reddish and it itches so much. I haven’t been putting aquaphor because it stains my clothes and I bought gauzes but it goes through anyway. I’m a little disappointed because it looked more faded a few days after the treatment and now it looks like it’s coming back and like nothing was done. It’s still the first session so I’m hoping the second one will be better.
