Trying SkinTyte by Sciton to Tighten Up Breast to Align Nipples, Improve Nipple Symmetry

ORIGINAL POST

Hi all! I have my first SkinTyte procedure...

Hi all! I have my first SkinTyte procedure scheduled for March 20! We have 4 sessions scheduled approximately two weeks apart. I had reservations at first.... didn't think this procedure would work. Another RealSelfer posted a question for the surgeons her and most of them agreed this wouldn't work, or if it did, it wouldn't be lasting. I'm willing to put it to the test! I've read some wonderful reviews and there is at least one photo posted here in this forum that shows a breast tightened and lifted somewhat, so I am hopeful this will work on my nipple asymmetry. I'm including before photos and will continue to update with pics so you all can see if it works or not. If it does, this will be a great options for other ladies with slight nipple asymmetry! Fingers crossed for us gals! Will keep you updated!

I had my first treatment on my right breast yesterday. If it works, I won't see a difference until at least week 6 or so. So I just have to be patient.

He measured from my sternal notch to my right nipple and it was 23cm. My left is about 22cm I believe. I guess I should have measured that one and will do so now that I'm thinking about it. I think ideally 19 - 21cm is considered "aesthetically ideal" so although I wish both of mine were higher after my breast lift, I'll settle for them at least being the same height... so I'm hoping this works.

As for the procedure itself, it doesn't hurt at all. The device is like a wand that is applied to your skin and moved over the area and it gets hot. They do put a gel (similar to like when you get an ultrasound) on your skin and then cover it with what looks like Saran wrap! You let them know when you feel its "hot" and then they also have this heat measuring tool and are constantly checking the temp I think as they are rolling the wand over the area. It took maybe 15 or 20 minutes (so not long at all). My skin was a little red after but the redness diminished pretty quickly and that was that. No side effects or changes to the look of my skin, etc. Super quick and easy and not painful at all.

Will update you again after my next appointment which is in about 2 weeks!

Did it work? I think you look great and 1cm difference is something no one else would probably notice!

Hi Ashley - No, not yet but they said it would take up to 6 treatments. I go for my 5th treatment soon. And the asymmetry is indeed really noticeable. I didn’t post many photos here on this forum because this forum and treatment really isn’t meant for boobs and I didn’t want to offend anyone looking to have their tummy tightened by littering the forum with my boobs! LOL!

You can check out my other reviews. I’ve had 3 sugeries. He did an amazing job on your boobs but you just got implants. I don’t think he’s that experienced with doing breast lifts and revisional surgeries. I should have insisted on seeing photos of his work rather than going by word of mouth.

I hate my cleavage now and am looking at a 4th surgery for sure with a specialist out in San Diego. Hopefully he can correct the symastia and loose skin in my cleavage and better position my left so it’s not so medial. Anyway, I’m waiting until after my 6th treatment to update here, and will continue to update so ladies know if it works. The surgeons here on RealSelf says it won’t, but I’m staying positive it wil! But if not, I’ll have Dr. Pousti in San Diego fix it. I’ve emailed back and forth with Dr. Pousti and he wants me to come out and see me in person. He does beautiful work though with revisions so I’m confident he can fix all the issues Dr. Diaco has left me with.

This whole experience has been so emotionally draining and depressing. It’s going on 3 years and 3 surgeries. I feel like a completely different person... not the confident happy person I used to be... I just want my old life and old self back. I know your body shouldn’t define you... but think about how wonderful you feel now. I just want to feel like that again, you know?! Wish me luck!

It's been about 2.5 months since I last updated, since I had my first treatment. I'm happy to say after having my 5th treatment, I feel it's working. The top photo was taken in May and the bottom in June. I have one more treatment June 22 and will post another update next month! Hope this is helpful!

I can see the improvement! They look a lot more even and it looks like it definitely lifted and tightened so they nipples are near symmetrical. Great results! I will follow and see how the next treatment goes and keep this in mind in the future if I need more options myself. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you both ...I really do think it helped! And, like with SculpSure, it can take weeks after the final treatment to see the end result. It's been about 5 week since my treatment. I haven't been back for the 6th one. And will probably call it a day on my boobs for now. There isn't anything I can do about the size difference. I think the left being larger than the right def. adds to the asymmetry and then there is my cleavage. Those issues both require surgery and that's not in the cards for me at the moment. So I'm on to bigger and better life goals! :) But I do feel the SkinTyte treatments helped tighten the right one up helping raise the nipple a little. I'll wait another few weeks or so and then do my final review here as to whether it's work it. But at this point I would say SkinTyte was worth it :)

I've read your last message. After seeing this update I still believe your breasts look really good. However, I do see your point about the cleavage. Have you looked at Dr. Pousti? He is my best recommendable doctor for breast revision. My doctor, here in Maryland is also very recommendable - Dr. Richards. I have been extremely sad lately due to bottoming out and Dr R was kind enough to perform my revision for free (I was his patient before that happened - please refer to my review). I am 5 days post capsulorrhaphy and things look good now, but I am terrified to have this happening again so I am going extra cautious with my recover. I have to write a new review about it and will do it sometime soon. Good luck with everything! :)

How are things going since the last treatment? Do these results need any touching up afterwards (months/years)? I am impressed as I was a bit skeptical at first. But I definitely can see the difference in these photos! I’m really happy for you dear!! I hope all is well sweetie!! ❣️❤️❣️
