One week til Surgery
$11,575
Well, I only have a week left. Hoping that by writing I'll be less anxious. I have my Primary Care Dr. appt. on Tuesday for the 'medical clearance' visit...then Wednesday I start my semi-liquid diet. I'm a vegetarian so that may be a bit difficult finding things I can drink/eat. I am allowed to have salads so that's easy but the soup part will be hard. I am excited and VERY nervous about the whole thing. Will post more later.

Elasticity?
Can anyone who has had a TT after losing so much weight (or more) tell me about their experiences after 3 months PO? Interested to know if there is a lot of skin sagging or other issues after a TT..

Scheduled the surgery
OK, so after seeing a few different surgeons I have picked one. Dr. S. He IS the most expensive, however, there is a safety factor that I really like. He does his AT a hospital as opposed to an office area. I will also stay overnight and from everything I've read, this is a really good thing. LOTS less pressure on my daughter to try to help me upstairs and take care of me that first night. I also chose this Dr. because his bedside manner was the greatest and best from the others. He had some photos of other women who really looked like what I think I look like and they look amazing. He does a bit more sculpting and tightening of the muscles than what another said they'd do. Doctors do really have their OWN ideas of how a female body should look. Dr. S seems to sculpt a little more towards what I have in mind and what I think I should realistically look like. SO people, it's 3 weeks from today and I can't believe I made up my mind to do this.
After losing 100 pounds and keeping it off I probably should have done this 3 years ago..but better late than never, right?
