Hello world!!!!! I am a proud mother of three beautiful children, but unfortunately my body took a toll after all the pregnancies. I am a very confident person but when it comes to my stomach my confidence goes out the window. I have considered getting a tummy tuck for four years now but I allowed my fears to get the best of me. It is now time for me to get over this fear and just do it now. I meet with two surgeons a male and female surgeon and I loved them both but I ended up picking the surgeon who I was most comfortable with of which is the female surgeon we made a great connection and now I am a week away from getting my TT. I am very excited and nervous at the same time, because I am a nurse working on the floor and is afraid that two weeks is not sufficient enough time to recover before returning to work but I am a very determined women and at this point will not allow anything to stop me from getting this surgery done.

My surgery is in four days and I am becoming very nervous. I been on YouTube all day watching post-op videos hoping to get some reassurance, but my excitement is overcoming my fears so the only thing left for me to do is wait until Friday morning. I also went to the store and picked up the Whey protein because that is excellent for wound healing and muscles so wish me luck and I will keep everyone updated on my progress.

It is approximately two days and 10 hours until I have my surgery and the time seems like it is going in slow motion, but I guess patience is always the key to any successful story, so from here on out I am going to be patient ( I hope)....have a good day everyone.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery! I'm sure you're full of excitement & nervousness. You're going to do great & be so happy u did it! I'm 2 month PO & have no regrets! I'm so happy with the results & the surgery was no where near as bad as I expected as far as the pain. Getting put under anasthesia was like doing a quick blink then ur waking up. Not bad ay all! The hardest part of a TT is expecting instant results. We think we're getting the surgery & will have the flat tummy we've been dreaming of but it doesn't really work like that. The results are a process that takes time...I'd say that's the hardest part of having a tt. Knowing that before will save u a lot of aggrivation:)

Thank you and yes I am excited, and congratulations on the tummy tuck I can't wait until I'm one year post-op so I can see my full results. My day is almost here so I will most definitely be posting pics on Monday three days post op, but thank you for the advice.

You nurses are tough and know how to run yourselves ragged. My sister is an RN and I work side by side with nurses in my job. So be sure and taker time to rest even as you get feeling better and have more energy. That is a little lesson I just learned last week. And ice packs, lots of ice packs for the swelling!!! Take care and good luck with your surgery. See you on the "flat side!"
