Almost 2 weeks out and this is where I am

Ok, it's been 13 days since surgery. I still have soreness in some areas, mostly hips and inner thighs. The soreness is gone from my outer thighs and flanks. I was very active over the past weekend. While I was moving, I felt sore and swollen, but the next morning a lot of swelling was gone. The following day (sunday), alot of activity - relieved swelling again. I did wear my compression garment throughout the activities but went home, peeled it off, showered and slept for the first time without it. Turning onto my side was slow and sore. When i slipped on my garment the following morning (monday) it zipped up with no problem and felt not as snug as all other days. I thought i would swell enough later on in the day to fill the space, but no, I was able to fit my hand in the leg holes and waist with no problem. I was happy. ( that was yesterday)

These are pics I took last night, I definitely see slimming but still hoping to slim down some more as time passes. I've always had a big booty and did not want contouring done, I'm rather attached to my dimpled booty and didnt want any fill ins.

1 week post op

This week was a struggle. Not with pain but with swelling. I have been active and moving around like instructed, however I feel tight and uncomfortable. I am NOT taking any pain medication, the discomfort is tolerable and bruising is already turning yellow and healing.

I had my 1 week post op yesterday. Swelling was confirm but normal and the medical assistant said the incision sites are healing great and given the go ahead for light massages. I was told I can transition into a smaller garment at week 3 but have been wearing a slimmer under my garment and still have room, I may transition to a smaller size at week 2 instead. I'm sweating more than usual, i guess my body is getting rid of excess fluids from the surgery. I will be posting pics of today tomorrow. Hopefully we'll notice some difference.

Day 2

These are my pics from Day 2. I feel the compression garment is not as snug as it should be. I also don't have much pain, just soreness. I am walking around but slowly. I am not taking any pain pills at this point, the soreness is still manageable, I am having lots of leakage, bright red too. I called the office to make sure that was normal, it is. I slept for a good part of this day but still functional. I am concerned with the smoothness of one of my butt cheeks, left side, it looks like that may be a lump of fat that was left. I am wearing my garment 24/7 except to wash it, it's soaked from leaking. Make sure to get an additional garment and steripads for drainage. No showering today, so i feel grimy and sticky.
