A Needed Tune Up

I decided to have lipo, I'm 47 and after years of working out, gained some fat and want it gone. It was very difficult to reach my goal size in my 20's & 30's, now it's virtually impossible in my 40s. I had a consult in March and felt positive about moving forward. I previously had a tummy tuck with no lipo of flanks or back and feel it just makes me look wide, so here I am...
The entire staff has been great so far, lots of communication and answered all my questions...I am very nervous. My only negative is that I was scheduled for 8:30 and then changed to 1pm and now I have to wait until 5pm...I will post my follow up...wish me luck.

After getting rescheduled to the last surgery appointment of the day, I was finally called in around 4:30 for my IV. I had my IV started and the drip felt funny in my arm, but I was assured it was gflowing fine and taken to the surgery room. I was to have general anesthesia and Ming was administering the anesthesia. Well the anesthesia didnt take! Of course I started to panick but Ming assured me he had all the drugs I needed to get the job done and off I went to sleep....When I woke up, I realized I had another IV placed.

When I woke up, I did feel pain and soreness, but most of all i was freezing. I had a two hour car ride home and leaked fluids the whole way. Even though I had bandages and steripads on the tiny incisions, I still leaked A LOT! I really didn't feel pain, just sore and that was my surgery day.

These are my pics from Day 2. I feel the compression garment is not as snug as it should be. I also don't have much pain, just soreness. I am walking around but slowly. I am not taking any pain pills at this point, the soreness is still manageable, I am having lots of leakage, bright red too. I called the office to make sure that was normal, it is. I slept for a good part of this day but still functional. I am concerned with the smoothness of one of my butt cheeks, left side, it looks like that may be a lump of fat that was left. I am wearing my garment 24/7 except to wash it, it's soaked from leaking. Make sure to get an additional garment and steripads for drainage. No showering today, so i feel grimy and sticky.
