I have a pilates reformer and a pilates bench at home. Take a class each Saturday. I don't smoke, only drink wine a couple of times per week. I'm relatively healthy and have been active all my life. But I couldn't shake this lower ab "poochie". Where I have my Dysport treatments also offers other treatments. It took me almost 6 months to decide to do this. So far okay. I'm only a few days in. Some discomfort today. But aspirin is enough to alleviate the discomfort. Still numb, bit swollen. Hopeful.
The treatment itself, I was well prepared by Ashley and Rick. And I just took deep breaths when I was uncomfortable. Overall the experience was like having a bad first-day menstrual period. A bit of cramping, a bit of passing nausea. After a while I distracted myself with a video game on my phone.
The last couple of days I've felt fairly well. I did a number of errands and lots of standing today and sitting at work. Created some discomfort for the evening. Using ice packs and aspirin for the discomfort.
I can't imagine the discomfort of a tummy tuck or liposuction!! I will post as I go; and get some photos to post too.
Thanks. I hope some of this will help another to decide or be support for your post-treatment journey.

Did a two-mile walk yesterday afternoon and massaged with Noni oil last evening, before bed. This morning feeling less discomfort, I'm sure both helped. I've always believed that exercise is the best cure for all that ails! And, I'm not as uncomfortable today. YAY.
I had been wearing leggings and loose tops, today, decided to wear a loose-fitting dress and do away with items around my lower ab. Truly it was distracting, and uncomfortable. But today, today I am hopeful that I am over the worse. I will massage again with the Noni oil this morning (it is a Tropical natural plant, known for its paint-relief proprties, and grows wild here on St. Croix).
I can see results already. Will walk again this afternoon and continue with the massage , lots of water and of course the aspirin, when needed.
