My implants never looked natural. They were too round and large for my small, petite frame. I had them for 14 years and honestly wished I had not done it at all. So now that I found a doctor and had them removed, I was very pleased with the decision. Initially, my breasts looked so small and deflated, but I do not care. My sense of self and sexuality is not defined by what's on my chest or lack thereof.

It has been 2 days since I have had them out and I am beyond relieved.

Awesome! I'm so happy for you. What is your favorite thing about having them out?

Forgive the time lapse. My favorite "thing" about having the explant is to be able to see that I have a normal breast size. I was flat-chested before and I am back to that size, but I am at peace with it. I will tell you that I was left with some deformity -- one breast is lower than the other and missing a "cup" shape, so that the bra slides up having nothing to anchor it down. Dr. Mendoza was unwilling to discuss options until I have reached the six month mark of my healing period. That will be next month. I chose the Bassin Center because I was interested in fat grafting to fill out my chest. Now, however, I will be happy to have normal-looking breasts. So let's see how this plays out.
thanks for posting. I love your last comment. I'm a week out from Explant and am doing my best to stick to that mindset. My chest does not define me!
