Hello! I am currently just a couple weeks shy of my 6 month anniversary with my new boobs!
I met 4 other surgeons before seeing Dr. Halpern. I almost didn't make the appointment because the woman who answered his phone was not pleasant and seemed bothered I called. BUT I am so happy I made the trip from Lakeland. I did so much research and obsessing on this surgery that I had to get several consultations.
The first consultation: By the time I met Dr. Halpern, I knew he was the one. He was very awesome during the consult. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING and had lots and lots of before and after photos. He took atleast 45 minutes on our consult. He presented very particular when it came to cleanliness and that isn't a bad thing at all. He mentioned he has had zero cases that lead to infection. I noticed several awards, certificates and plaques in each of the rooms; which showed he has a lot of experience.
Second counsulation: We chose gummy mentor silicone implants that went below the muscle. My old breasts were very asymmetrical, so we choose two different implant sizes. (And now they are the same size of eachother!)
Day of surgery: My appointment was mid morning. He was running behind due to unforseen events with patient before me. I wasn't bothered by this because it proved he takes his time and doesn't rush through surgeries.
Post operartion: I was able to move about with no problem. I had to keep telling myself to take it easy. If i had an office job, I would of been able to get back to work by the 4th day I think. But I am a firefighter and it took 4 weeks to get back into full duty. Oh and I had zero difficulty with my range of motion after the surgery. I was able to wash my hair by day 3; which is typically unheard of. I also had very minimal bruising.
Bonus: Dr.Halpern gives lots of gifts too, flowers, mugs, expensive scar cream, before and after picture's, and my favorite a FREE $125 facial (which was also amazing)....
All in all, he was the best. I have no qualms besides his staff being kinda short at times. I fully whole heartedly recommend Dr. Halpern to my friends and family for breast augmentation (and botox)!!! Thank you Dr. Halpern, my confidence has blossomed just like by boobs! XO
