I had lap band surgery 6 years ago. I've been at stable weight and don't seem to be able to lose anymore. I've worked out with trainer and arms and stomach are not any smaller. I can't wait to get the excess skin removed. I will still need to have breast lift and thigh lift but will have to wait till next year for that. I have my preop appointment Wednesday.

How exciting that you are able to do this for yourself.  You have done an excellent job with the weight loss so now it's time to finish this up.

It's good that you are going to schedule the other surgeries next year.  Give your body some time to heal in between each procedure.

Keep us up to date and let me know how you are doing.  How was the preop?

Pre-op went great. I'm more excited than I was. I have read lots of posts about different supplies people buy - gloves, gauze, tape, etc.. My PS said I wouldn't need anything. Is that really the case or should I still buy stuff?

You don't need to go crazy, but make sure you have all of the convenience items.  Here is a link to my supply lists and tips.  Click Here.

Surgery was yesterday. It went great. They started around 7 and ended about 1. I was home by 3:30. Pain was not as bad as I thought it would be but I'm taking Percocet every 4 hours. My arms don't hurt at all - a few little twinges. Stomach is the most painful. Definitely hurts when I move and change positions. I have to go back to PS in a little bit - am not looking forward to getting in and out of car. I can't wait to see the results without bandages. So far everything looks great and I'm very happy. I will post some before and after pics soon. I'm so glad surgery is over and I can start the recovery process!
