26 Year Old Female Got Liposculpture at Sonobello - Tampa, FL

Let me just start off by saying, before going...
$4,500
Let me just start off by saying, before going through with a procedure like this, do your research and ask for plenty of before and after pictures so you do not waste your money. I will say that my overall experience while getting the surgery was not bad at all and my recovery period was not bad either. However, I think that this process was not so much of a contouring service as instead it was to just remove the fat and get out of there. I was not expecting some kind of miracle to my body, but the price I paid for what was removed, I feel like I got ripped off big time.
I am not impressed with Sonobello's body contouring services at all. I went in June for my consultation for liposculpture where I met with a consultant and NOT the surgeon which I found to be kind of disconcerting. When expressing that I may need some time to think about it being right for me, the consultant, Lonnie, put pressure on me to commit to the surgery right then and there. I really wish I would went somewhere where I could speak to the actual surgeon about what I wanted and not a salesperson. She told to do my upper and lower abs, as at the time I could not get financed for my flanks as well (which maybe I could of had I not pretty much been suckered into getting the surgery as soon as possible). Just an FYI, they did not remove the fat from my entire abdomen. My upper abs consisted of just about two inches above my belly button which I was not informed of until my 3 month (actually 4) follow up. The consultant also told me that I could work out and do crunches two weeks after and when I went in for my pre-op, I was very irritated to find out that this wasn't the case at all, in addition to finding out the real amount of time I had to actually wear the compression garment in the MIDDLE OF THE SUMMER.
The surgery itself was great. The doctor and staff were very personable and friendly. He made me feel very comfortable in the operating room and put me at ease before hand. I will say that overall, that part of this whole experience was probably the best part. I felt no pain whatsoever and as far as the recovery period went, the swelling, the pain, and the drainage were all minimal.
Overall, I ended up spending about $4500. In my opinion, not worth it in the slightest. For the work they did, I would say $2500 would of been a fair price. I am nearly five months post op I can honestly say I do not see my final results getting much better. I have been dieting and working out and continuing to live a healthy lifestyle and I do not feel like I look any different at all. I have yet to lose a pound, just three inches off of my waist (just my waist and no where else), which don't get me wrong, that part as been nice, but I have not gone down any sizes in my clothing at all. My lower abs do look better but I have a bit of a bubble and unevenness which they keep telling me is going to go away. I have never had kids and it looks like I had a C section. The nurse at my last follow up actually asked me if I had one. And my upper abs, right under my breasts, which they did not do entirely look like a big blob of fat. Had I of known that they were not willing to go up that high, I do not think I would of signed the paperwork to get them done.
Also in reference to my follow up which was technically my three month post op, however, it ended up being closer to four, I had inquired about possibly getting a touch up and getting my flanks. The nurse acted kind of funny when I inquired about a touch up and said that the manager would have to approve it. She also said that he would contact me and I never received a phone call. After a couple days with no call back, I was actually glad I didn't get a phone call because as I said before, I feel like I was ripped off and highly mislead. For my touch up services and the additional work I am going to have to have done, I will be going elsewhere. I have no desire to go back there for any additional services. For what I paid, and the amount that I am about to invest in for a touch up, I could of gotten an extreme makeover done. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT GO TO SONOBELLO

I had a very similar experience as well with them. Every procedure I had done required a revision. I have 4 procedures. Not worth the money and they need better surgeons.
