In hopes of helping other ladies/gents, I have decided to post my experience from beginning to end. Most of the forums I am finding is dated from few years ago.
HERE I GO~ I am a momma of three ,ages 2, 3, 5
Im 5'2 and and 132 pds having my first really stretched my stomach out that even exercise wouldn't have helped. Then came 2nd and 3rd. Long story short went in for a consult and decided to go forward. Dr told me I should lose as much weight as I wanted so that everything will lay flat. Preop Dec 11 sdate Dec 29!!

I'm glad you're starting to document your journey. I'm new to considering a TT and Ehret is on my list for consultations :) a friend went through his office and is/was very happy with her results and his honesty in what to expect

Hi! I haven’t had surgery yet but a lot of women talk about renting a recliner to help you sleep more comfortably. Did your PS make any other recommendations?

Hi there!! Not yet. My preop is in a Month. I thought about renting one, but nervous on how clean it will be. I may just make do with pillows. When is your surgery date?

I’ve talked with a few other ladies and they have rented recliners. I️ had your same concern so I️ called and asked about policies, the companies all sanitize their furniture when it is returned. I’ll take the extra step of covering it up with a pad (for leakage) and sheet anyway. Price wise Rent a center was like $100 but Aaron’s was $30. I️m super nervous to set/schedule a specific date, but I’m looking at this summer. I️ work for the school district and won’t have to worry about taking sick leave

Is Aaron's a national company?

How long will you be in the hospital for? I slept in a semi upright position with a travel (neck support pillow) for first few days but woke up around 3am this morning lying completely flat in bed (day 5 po and in my recovery apartment). I was very comfortable but as I've had my boobs done too I thought I should be more upright !

I believe I will be sent home the same day. I live 30 min away. I hope i can be flat on my back as you did. That is a quick recovery according to hour other ladies had been healing!!

The easiest and quickest way to lose weight is to download my fitness pal and enter everything you eat. Once you reach the calorie allowance stop eating. And I lost 15 pounds in about a month by walking almost everyday. I went for 10,000 steps but your goal could be different. I've kept he weight off of 2 years now and haven't counted calories since I started walking.

I’m 2 weeks post op. Yes get a shower stool. You will have to stay bent over for some days so when you can sjlhower this will help. I did get the binder and o purchased a spandex fitting allwaybto my thighs after my 1st week post-op. If possible use doctor that uses the Xparel so that your recovery and up time walking is quicker. Best wishes.

Thank you! How long did it take for you to straighten out?

Comfortably at two weeks. However I still can’t oush shoulders back yet BUT each person is different and it depends on how tight your surgeon pulls the skin. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated.

5 days post op - first shower yesterday as I was told to wait until my drains were out. I haven't needed a shower stool at all and was upright without pain from day 2. It really is so very different for everyone. My PS provided 1 set of binders (1 for stomach and 1 for boobs). He said to leave it off for a couple of hours whilst I was and dry them - I may get another set but then I do like the idea of getting a bit of fresh air to the wounds. I certainly wouldn't want to be doing anything activity without them at the moment though, they feel a bit like a safety blanket .

Wow, quick recovery!! I hope i can be upright as quickly! I ordered on Macy. Com a post op compression. Hopefully out works

Hi there! Congrats on your upcoming surgery! This is a very exciting time for you! I had a mommy makeover 9 months ago so here are some of my suggestions- a recliner, lots of gauze, an extra binder in case your original binder gets drainage on it. I just asked the nurse at the hospital for an extra one. Are you getting drains? If so a lanyard for shower time. And a heating pad for back pain if you’re hunched over. These are all things I found most useful and used the most. Good luck and I can’t wait to hear how it goes :)

Thank you for the suggestions!! Excited and nervous for the pain!!
