Update for you ladies!! Im walking pretty much upright. I think what helped was that I made myself walk the day of (every few hours). When i was able to take a shower , boy did it feel weird. I tied a loose cloth around my neck and pinned the bags onto it. My stomach felt so weak and wobbily when i took the compression off for the first time. On that note, my 2nd garment is a spanx body garment, with a breast cut out. Normally i wear a m , but that was way too tight. I ended up with a large, which started out tight too. Khols. Still sleeping in my recliner. Got myself off all the meds now!! Im not sure if it is normal, but i sweat alot at night. This week to get my endurance up, I made myself go shopping, but taking it easy afterwards. This recovery was harder than i thought, But i see the light. I have to say the swolleness has been going down every day!! Ill keep you ladies posted!!

All the anxiety leading up to surgery was for nothing! I only remember walking down a hall way and laying down then waking up!
With all the pain meds in my system going home wasnt the issue. Ladies please keep up the meds. I can literally feel the stitching of the muscles that needed repairs. With all the meds,i ended up oral thrush which made things alot painful. I was so bloated, but couldn't drink fluid, because it hurt to swallow. Now that they gave me stuff needed for that lets hope it goes away!! I the getting up and sitting down got alot easier. Stomach just feels like I've been working out alot. Coughing and laughing is hard. I had a old recliner that i stuffed myself with pillows and blankets. Because of the thrush o have been sipping on ck stock.. ill update on the next couple days when i don't feel groggy

Tomorrow is the day
Omg!!!! Tomorrow is the day when i get to join the flat side!! Not sure how I feel. A little freaked out but ready to get this over with!!!! I got everything i needed to prepare for this. Hopefully i will be able to sleep when i get home. Tick tock...cant wait. I will update with recovery details!!
