I’m finally getting it done! Surgery date for my MM is April 17th! I am getting a TT, Lipo to the Flanks and Breast Augmentation (NO lift). I am a unique case as I have had a previous Breast Reduction 20 years ago. Who would have though I’d be putting implants in after having a BR?! I am lacking that upper pole fulness and need help getting something up there. After kids my breast got larger and most of the tissue is at the bottom of my breast. Nipples remain in the right spot though.

My Stats:
38 y/o
4’11”
112lbs
BWD: 14cm
Victoria Secret Bra: 34D
C-Section x 2
Breast Reduction 20 years ago

Consultations, I’ve had 3. I originally was going to just have one as I had my heart set on a specific surgeon. After that consultation, I realized I needed to go to at least 2 more. Here’s how those went down:

Consultation 1: I paid $100 for this appointment. He’s a very distinguished surgeon in the area, won awards and I love his work. He told me I didn’t need a lift and recommended 330cc Low Profile High Cohesive Gel Implants. I was confused as I swore I needed a lift! And then I heard LOW PROFILE… how does that give me upper pole fulness??? As for my belly, I may need to come back and do some additional Lipo to help get me flatter. My thoughts, he’s very conservative.

Consultation 2: Free consult. He recommended 400cc mod profile (judging by my wish pics) as my BWD is 14cm. He also, spends a lot of time creating a Linea Alba and uses Ultrasonic Lipo and spends time getting the sub scarpa out to help get you flat.

Consultation 3: I paid $100 for this appointment. Apparently, I surprised this Doctor. He said for being so petite he would have never guessed my tummy would be so big and that I hid it well. DANG….. truth!
He suggested that I get a Circumferential TT and for the breast, essentially a Reverse TT to lift the breast up higher. He said that cannot get my breast up as high as I want them because of where they naturally sit. So that’s why he suggested the Reverse TT. I’ve never heard of a Reverse TT and the scar for that would be from one rib cage to the other. YIKES! He did have the 3D Vectra so I could potentially see what a little more volume would be like on me. Without doing the Reverse TT, he recommended 310cc Moderate Profile. He said anything more would make me look top heavy.

Freaked out about that consult so I rescheduled a 2nd consultation with Surgeon #2.

Consultation 4 (with same Surgeon on 2nd consult): Did not recommend Circumferential TT and no need for Reverse TT to get breast up higher. I ended up booking my surgery date!

Sizers!

Given that I have Hx of Breast Reduction (20 years ago) I don’t want to go BIG. Now I may live that motto “Go BIG or go home” every now and then but I wasn’t really feeling it for my Breast. I was a teenager when I had them reduced. It felt SO good to be free and wear whatever I wanted to wear. The Struggle was real!!! Oh and so was the harassment from males, even OLD men. I liked the size of my breast before kids, they fit my body.
Post kids, they got a little larger and don’t sit up as high.
Here are my Stats:

Desires:
Upper Pole Fulness
The Curvature of the breast to start near the Axilla
Prefer Upper Pole Fulness vs Projection
What I was told:
Breast sit lower on the ribs but nipples are in tact so no lift
Can’t get that curvature high because of where my breast sit
We can still achieve a nice look; just not exactly what you want unless you go BIG
UGH!!!!!! WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I originally chose Natrelle 405cc Moderate Profile Highly Cohesive Silicone implants. My BWD is 14cm. I believe the diameter on those are 13.25cm. After going home and looking at my pics with the sizers on… I started to freak out. I thought they were way too big. The t-shirt I had on made me look FAT from the front profile. So I went back to try on some more sizers.
After hearing my concerns of not wanting to go too big, I decided on Natrelle 360cc Low Profile Cohesive Silicone Implants.

Did I get that song stuck in your head??? It’s stuck in mine!!! Lol!
My husband likes the 405cc. OF COURSE HE DOES!!!! I on the other, liked the way the 350cc looked. I know that you lose approximately 25cc when you go under the muscle.
I feel like a dang nut job, obsessing over sizes. I’ve seen my PS 4x in the span of a few weeks. I’ve emailed the patient coordinator a million times. After deciding on the Natrelle 360cc High Cohesive Silicone Low Plus Profile Implants (SCLP 360) I emailed my PS and asked them to hold onto the Natrelle 405cc High Cohesive Silicone Moderate Profile Implants (SCM 405). We (husband, myself and PS) will decide on the day of surgery.
Ladies!!!!!! Please help me out! What do you think looks good?

One thing to remember is that your tummy is going to be FLAT after your TT. So whatever you pick will stand out more. I just had mine reduced (sculpted) and lifted (because they needed it) because I wanted to be able to wear the cute shirts and sexy bras! I always felt like I was wearing tent shirts to fit the girls...but you know that since you already had a reduction. I will possibly add an implant later if I am not full enough but my PS wanted to wait on that since we were sculpting (I got rid of my 'side boob') and lifting. I can't wait to see your results!

Oh, so I like the 350cc or the next size up at most. But that's coming from my YEARS of wearing big shirts and industrial looking bras. My bf LOVES big boobs also, but he loves them now too because they are perky and tight and the whole picture looks good with the flat tummy and perky boobs. He doesn't miss the size.

Thank you for the insight! I do remember fighting with my mom on clothes and hating that I could wear all the cute stuff other teens were wearing because I looked awful in them. I told my PS that I’m still leaning toward the 360cc. I don’t want to go through my teen years again! BTW, your results look amazing!

*could not wear all the cute clothes.

Thank you! Everyday I see slight changes and I know it will take months to see the final product, but I LOVE the results so far! My nipples are starting to flatten out which I am glad to start losing the ruffle look that comes with a donut lift. Of course the glue coming off helps them look better also!

You're welcome! I am so happy to hear you LOVE your results! You do look amazing and I bet you are going to LOVE going shopping for clothes! OH and dare I say, go braless in a sun dress out in public? So Liberating!!! The answer is right in front of me. I am going to trust my gut and go with the 360cc. I think what trips me out is the face that they are Low Plus Profile and that doesn't scream Upper Pole Fulness. I jokingly asked my PS if he could just take out my breast tissue and replace with a nice implant. Thanks for your feedback! Can't wait to join you on the flat side!!!

LOL! When I was questioning the donut lift and how much it lifted and filled me out my biggest concern was, "will I be able to go without a bra in public without risk of being locked up or knocking people out!?" LOL!! My PS assured me I would be able to so I was sold! Now if I can just get to that point!!!
April 11, 2018
Tough decision! I think you look best in the 350. You will have a really flat stomach after so whatever you pick I think they will look bigger than they do know! I had big boobs my whole life and am 3 weeks post op. I went with a lift only. They are a little smaller than what I have had but I love them! I am going to love wearing cute shirts and not having my breasts the first thing everyone notices. But that is probably dealing with that my whole life...lol!! Ultimately it is up to you! Can't wait to see your results!

Happy 3 Weeks Post Op! If I could go with just a lift to get my girls ridding high I would totally do just that! I was beyond surprised to learn that I didn't need a lift. I feel as if those who get a lift end up with nicer looking breast. Oh well... it is, what it is. I am pretty set on the 360cc. I'm sure my husband will appreciate them no matter the size and you're right, they will look bigger once my tummy is flatter. Thank you for comment and I look forward to hearing how your 3rd week is treating you! Happy Recovery!!!

Hello!!! Thank you for checking in! I made it to the flat side! It’s been a roller coaster of emotions these pst few days. My biggest gripe is the pain that I get in my right thigh. It’s a burning/feels like my muscle is ripping pain. It’s awful and I can’t move my leg when it happens. Other than that, all is well. I will post an update soon with pictures of me. Thanks again for reaching out!

You are going to look so good! Pick what you want! No one else! I’m sorry not even the hubby! You have to carry those babies around! I had a lift only and I still have large breasts. But I have a large gram to work with!
