A few months ago I didn't even know what micro blading was. I saw a lot of reviews here and decided I needed to check it out for myself. I looked on a Groupon and saw a place running a special but I was thinking it was to good to be true so I didn't buy in. However I started to follow that salon and almost daily she was posting pictures of her work. Then I saw a special she was running so I signed up. I had to wait six weeks but since she is posting new photos all the time I figure she has gotten tons of practice. I go in this Tuesday morning. I will post more after.

Wow, great review... I am just now learning of this procedure... Very excited to get this done for myself. I recently had gotten some cosmetic surgery and one of my procedures was a direct brow lift... The down side to this procedure is a slight but noticeable scar above my thin brows....sooo this microblading I believe will be the solution to camouflage my scar and my thin brows... Awesome job, you're brows are perfect. Thanks for sharing your post...

I went to Svitlana (Lana) at Ageless Beauty Studio in Tacoma Washington and I am so impressed.
First she took over an hour to measure and map out what my brows would look like. Starting out with face shape and what brow shapes look best with my shape. My face shape was a combination of a couple so she said she would consider that when doing the measurements for my brow shape. Then she started measuring and marking having me check out each step to make sure we were in agreement on the look. First making with dots, then using a string to make lines, then a final tool to connect it all. Then I stood up so she could make sure gravity didn't change the look. After all that I was numbed, we agreed on a color. She showed me the packaged blade (more like a few fine needles) before opening it and placing it on the tool so I knew she was using a sterile product. At the end she decided to make the tails slightly darker then the body of the brow. All part of her magic I guess. I am beyond impressed. Not only was her cost far less but I feel since she does so many each day she has it all down to a perfect science. You can see me and many other clients as her studio is on Facebook.

Very nice! Was it painful for you? I got mine done today, along with eyeliner. It hurt like heck, dumbing cream did nothing to lessen the pain, just awful.

I have a high pain tolerance so the pain was not an issue. Lana told me if it hurt she'd stop and put on more numbing cream. Towards the end I could feel it but not enough to ask her to stop. The part that got me was the sound of her scratching in my new brows.

Me too, on the pain tolerance... that's why it was such a shock as to how painful it was! I really think the numbing cream didn't work, and she kept reapplying it

Fris2u maybe for your touch up you can get some numbing cream and start applying it an hour before your appointment. The good thing is the touch up won't be as many strokes. I am doing eyelash enhancement when I go in for my touch up.

There was a bit of puffy-ness the first night. I mean let's face it my brow area had just been repeatedly scratched then dye rubbed in. One brow was more swollen so they looked crooked. I knew they were even when I left so I didn't worry. They did tend to "weep" a bit the first 24 hours...again I am sure that is normal considering what I had put my brows through. This is the third night and I'm am still very happy with the look. My instructions say to wash daily with a gentle soap and keep moist with A&D ointment. Only touching with clean hands. The little bit of soreness I had was gone by the first evening. All the puffy was gone by the second night, and knock on wood no sign of infection.
