Getting my Brows Back
Lash Enhancement
Years ago I had a very thin eyeliner tattooed on my upper lash line. One side was not quite as far down on my inner eye as the other and it always bothered me. I really didn't want to go in and re-tattoo my eyeliner, as it was still pretty good. However when I heard about eyelash enhancement I thought that's just what I was looking for.
Eyelash enhancement is when they tattoo in between your eyelashes so it goes from the inner to the outer lash. It is not an eyeliner it stops at the end of the lash line. I like it because I can always put on a thicker line of eyeliner for going out. For every day I can get up wash my face and head out the door and I still look like I have some sort of make up on. The process is easy a numbing cream is applied and once your eyelid is numb the Anesthetician applies the tattoo between your eyelashes. Lana did mine and she started out using the manual tool. However because my eyes watered so badly she ended up using the machine. It wasn't really painful it was just having my eyelid held open while someone was poking at it with a needle can be a little disconcerting. My eyes are so sensitive to light they are always watering. Yet I hung in there and felt it was well worth the price as well as the slight discomfort. I did my first session on May 9th and my touch up on May 29th. I am happy with the results.
Final update
I did not do any "gentle washing" of my brows as I thought maybe my gentle was a little too rough. I only used A&D ointment until after they had peeled.
I love the color and the shape and yes they may not look exactly even. I talk with my eyes and one eyebrow always goes up so they will never be perfect. I don't think there's enough Botox out there to keep my eyebrows still.
Anyway as Lana says they're sisters... not twins.
