Ibam day three post op from my second surgery....

Ibam day three post op from my second surgery. This one included : upper, lower, waist, hips flanks and arms. I expected it to be as painful as the first go around about three weeks ago but this was much easier. I was awake the entire ti,e and it went relatively quickly. My ribs and hips seems the most uncomfortable nut there ghasnt been much leaking at all. Not sure if that's a good thing or not? looking forward to all my areas recovering and being able to enjoy this new body. patience is definitely required as is a life style change. You don't get skinny over night and you won't stay thin if better habits aren't formed. One thing I've noticed is the judgements from others. That either you are lazy or rich or crazy for doings this. because of these reactions I would suggest telling only a couple people,it is very personal decision. I only tp.d three and I Wish I had told less quite honestly. The bruising isn't bad, be sure to wear compression garments and drink water. I plan to take pictures and post next weekend basically full body since I had full body done. One a positive note my calves are down THREE inches each, that is huge. Knees look good, Im feeling like this is alive changing decision and I want to help others that have questions and make sure you are prepared before you do this. Feel free to ask me anything and Che h back for my "two week after photos" I will post pictures throughout. Happy Lipo'ing!!!

I am 18 days post surgery today and I'm excited...

I am 18 days post surgery today and I'm excited about my results. I definitely think the pain and healing process is downplayed and I expected to bounce back quicker than I have. While the process has been slower (and more painful) than I anticipated, I am excited to see the results. I find that massaging the areas now is very helpful. Up until about three days ago, it was too painful, now it helps tremendously. I would also encourage those that need to go back to work to plan ahead and get clothing that will hide the garment and not expect to be in "skinny" clothes right away. There are days where I feel I can see a tremendous change and others where I feel swollen and larger than before the process. On some days it feels like its been a long time and others I can't believe it's only been 18 days. A couple things I highly recommend if you can do PRIOR to surgery is cut out salt, drink lots of water and start taking ANICA MONTANA tablets that are sold online (got mine at Amazon). They help with the swelling and bruising. I find that if I keep my salt intake down, my water consumption up and my garment worn for the majority of the day I have the best results and feel the best. With that in mind, the garment is not comfortable but it has a purpose and why spend all the money and then not get the results you want by not wearing the garment. I highly suggest wearing it as long as you can, that is what helps get the body compressed back to a nice contour, I can tell a huge difference when I do and don't wear it. On another note, I haven't shared with many people my story so it's been hard to keep under wraps. Having a cover story, being uncomfortable, being stuffed into a compression suit like a sausage. If you haven't had your sugery and you plan on having multiple areas done like I did, plan ahead if you aren't sharing with everyone. (I don't think you have to, it's our business), but clothing that hide the garment, and be patient...and above all expect some discomfort but see the light at the end of the tunnel. Happy lipo'ing!
