Things are looking up:)

Again, posted this today but it ended up on another profile...
"I had a post op 3 days ago and things are looking up! I was told I'm healing well following my left hematoma surgery (now) 25 days ago. I'm still to wear the compression bra when doing anything physical (such as working) but if I'm lounging about I can wear a sports bra/non-underwire bra. For an evening out, I can wear an underwire for a couple hours. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me!!! I still cannot take NSAIDS or anything "heart healthy" such as Vitamin E that has the potential to thin the blood and increase bleeding. It was recommended I seek lymphatic massage as I still have swelling of the left breast due to the hematoma. My right breast is ready for scar therapy but the lefty is not there yet. I think I'm just going to wait a week or two until I can start them together. I have no sensation in the left nipple but this is not surprising at this point, I'm not overly worried. I would say the outside of my lefty from about 2-5 o'clock is also quite numb. The right side certainly has feeling in the nipple (maybe a little exaggerated) and the rest of the breast has sensation as well. I still cannot workout and while I feel like a flabby mess with lack of muscle tone, I'm more than happy to not get my heart rate up and cause another hematoma. Until all of my bruising is gone, no working out. I've been feeling better over the last week, only taking Tylenol as needed vs around the clock. I'm still sleeping on my back and am taking a sleep aid or I'd probably be wide awake. Shout out to Ambien! I'm a side sleeper so this has been difficult... One thing I still notice by the end of the day is that my incisions on the right breast in particular absolutely ache and are uncomfortable, they can even burn. I'm not sure if this is because I have more sensation in my righty or not but it seems to make sense. I'm starting to see the right breast wiggle more and it feels pliable. My P.S. reminds me that my breasts are basically two weeks apart in recovery so I'm trying to be patient but it's not my strong suit. I'm told I'm not at a higher risk for developing C.C. due to my left hematoma because it was not located in the pocket but rather in the breast tissue. Thank God for this because it has been weighing heavily on my mind.
Dr. Ehret and his staff continue to be very kind and capable in my continued care. He makes sure I have all of my questions fully answered before leaving and I have many - especially following my hematoma! His nurses are fantastic and on more than a couple of occasions I have sent pics to them with questions. I can't speak highly enough of his staff. I was very impressed that while I had a second surgery on my lefty just shy of 2 weeks from my original surgery (BL and augmentation) I was not charged. I think that in the wake of an emergency we are often shown who our P.S.'s are, how they practice and true capability in skills. I've been very happy to see I chose an excellent surgeon."

Wow what a remarkable improvement compared to your last PO pics! The overall shape of your breasts is really nice, not to mention you're in such great physical shape! You will continue to heal. And I think your results will be fantastic! So happy for you. :-)

Thank you! It has been a roller coaster for sure. I'm more pleased every couple days now. Just praying for continued healing at this point and hoping to post updates that are better and better! It was very difficult to find profiles out there with similar circumstances so I'm hoping I can help someone with a bit of hope.

Follow up on left hematoma
BringOnTheTaTasMarch 20, 2017
I've had a problem with my profile, so my updates haven't been posting. The following was posted March 14, 2017 on a second review under the same user name. What the heck? I wanted to post an update for the women out there going through similar circumstances.
"My BL and augmentation was 2/10/17. I went back for a second surgery 2/23/17 for a left hematoma that seemed to come out of the clear blue sky. (I'll post a couple pics following this review.) As you can see, the swelling has come down. My breasts still swell by the end of the day, the left more pronounced. I pray 50 times a day for continued healing. I'm so worried I will get another hematoma! I can't exercise and must wear my compression bra 24/7 for at least 6 more weeks. If you think you can hide that bra under anything, you're mistaken! Every time I get a weird sensation in my lefty, I'm running for a mirror to check it. This whole experience has robbed me of any joy for the time being where my breasts are concerned. I wish I was trying on new bras and bathing suits but for the time being that's on hold. I have a follow up appointment in three days. I'm hoping all looks good and my restless mind can settle a bit."
