Dr P was great!! Very personable! Listened to my concerns to be conservative. I was so nervous with his recommendations of how big would look good on me! I was an A/small B cup and did not want anyone knowing that I was having this procedure done. I wanted this for me and no one else. I wanted to be more confident in myself. My husband was not on board at first but then in the end decided if it made me happy go for it! So I did!
At my preop appointment my we decided on 350cc uhp textured under the muscle through inframammary incision. After I left I had serious doubts and just knew this would be too large. So I text Jamie Dr P's manager (and Wife). She made me feel a lot more comfortable about my decision. I decided to just let things be. Dr.P has done a ton of these and I trust he heard my concerns and wasn't going to do something I didn't want.
There wasn't a lot of info on here with my stats and what I was going to have. So I couldn't really get a comparison to what I was going to look like! The before and after photos I looked at could be so dramatically different so that was a little disheartening to "know" how things would go.
Day of surgery. Check in was 7:30. It was all kind of a blur with my Preop Xanax on board. ????. I met with Dr.P and he marked me answered any q's my husband had made us all feels at ease. The anesthesiologist is Dr P's dad. I felt super comfortable with him. Also a very down to earth man! He did a great job! I had absolutely no problems woke up easily!
The nurses and office staff are great! Love that it is an all in one office.
Post op day 1-3 were the hardest for pain and soreness. Chest muscles are used for Everything! I only took the narcotic pain medicine for 1 1/2 day then just Tylenol. But still pretty sore for about 5 days. Then much better. In the mornings they are "stiff" feeling. I have heard the term morning boob! Lol. It's true!
I am now in my 4 th week post op. Things are starting to soften up. Using coconut oil and massaging a little. But still have a ways to go before they really settle in.

They are both post op! 2 and 4 weeks. ☺️ I didn't take a before unfortunately. I didn't have the guts to. So it makes for a bad comparison. But I am so happy! I was an A cup/small B. Now I believe I will be a full C!

Ohhh silly me! I thought you looked slightly smaller in the first so it must have been the lighting! All looks fantastic! :-) I was wondering why you made such a small change, ha ha ha! :-)

I am very reluctant to post these pictures. But hoping it will help others in decision making?? I love my results. Didn't want to go for a big size only to boost my confidence and fill out a bra/swimsuit better!!

I'm glad you did post your review. I have my surgery booked with Dr. P on Nov 18th. It helps calm my nerves to see another person happy with his work. You look amazing! Happy healing.

You are exactly what I am going through right now. I'm so indecisive about having a breast augmentation. The more you talk about it with others, the worse I feel. They are starting to have me question my mental status. They also give me stats like 80-85% of women divorce afterwards. OMG! Will this ruin my life or make it better? I want to do it for me and have always wanted to fill a dress. That's all. I am 140lbs, 5'6'' and 34b.

I truly believe it depends on the reason you are doing it. If it's for attention I am sure the rates of divorce goes up. But o knew for sure that wasn't my intention and only went for it when my husband was on board with the plan. ☺️ I have a couple of friends that have had BA and are still happily married after 8-10 years!
I will sAy don't be afraid of going slightly bigger than what you think you want. I hear about boob greed a lot also. I feel like I could have gone slightly bigger. Now that I'm kind of used to them. But no regrets!

Thanks for your reply. How much bigger would 375 be a good amount. I have to be careful as I work as an osteopath and don't want them to get in the way. Did you have the option of going over the muscle? I would rather not cut my muscle as I use them a lot and swim also on a team. I will be discussing this with a surgeon on Monday. I was thinking of having them done on Dec 20th. Do you think this is too close to Christmas? I may be too sore to enjoy myself or participate in the cooking etc.

If you decide to go over I think the recovery is better. It is amazing how many simple movements the chest muscles use. I preferred under the muscle for more natural look. By day 4-5 I was moving my arms much easier. Still sore but only used narcotic really the first 24-36 hours.
I don't think 25 cc would be much of a difference at all.
Probbaly wil be feeling ok by Christmas. What a great present that would be. I wasn't thinking and scheduled mine on the Thursday before Labor Day. Nice long weekend to recover tho. On the Sunday following I drove and went to a friend gathering.

I'm pretty athletic and had mine under muscle. I wall-climb, kayak, run, etc. I have not had any problems with them and felt the safest, long-term decision would be under muscle. I have now had them for about 9 months. I went from a 34B to a 34DD. They don't feel too big and almost all my clothing still fits well but only better.

Hey thanks so much for sharing!! Love your result. I may be getting textured Inspiras soon and was wondering how you like your textured implants? Do you have any issues with rippling at all? I hope your recovery is going well! Happy healing :)

I am 2 months post op and they are settling very nicely! They feel a bit "stiff" to me yet. But I think giving it another month or two they will be perfect! Already a lot softer than a month ago. I am really happy with my decision. I was afraid of being too big!! It is totally true. Go a little bigger that what you think you want! Initially they will seem large. But over time they settle and are a bit smaller after swelling goes down. Good luck!

Yes I had the same reservations as well in the begining. They always seems so much bigger than when they're actually in you. Thanks for the feedback though I appreciate it. Are your implants gummy bears or regular silicone gels? I didn't see if you made note of that anywhere. I know with the gummy bears my ps mentioned to be very patient with them softening up.

I would also like to know how you are liking the textured implant. I have textured inspira and mine are not dropping. They are still very high and I am 7 weeks out. Yours have dropped nicely in such short time. Did you massage at all or were you told not to? They look so great. Congrats!

I am really happy with my decision!! They feel a bit firm yet. But have settled quite a bit even over the last 2-3 weeks. I did not get a lift, not sure if you did? That could affect the way they sit too? But I believe you are still early enough things are still settling. Yes massaging a little. In a down and inward motion. ☺️

Thank you! I have been trying to do squeezing exercises to push implant down and help them drop. I don't feel like it's helping but I'll keep at it. No lift, but I did go a bit larger at 450cc. I was an A/B and wanted a D which I am at right now but just so high! I hope they drop soon. Maybe it takes longer Bc the larger implant is in a tighter space. Fingers crossed!

Hi! You look amazing and congrats! I am curious on why your surgeon chose UHP? Mine wants that too and I'm nervous about that but not after seeing yours!
