1 year!
WORTH IT
Wow. 1 year and it feels like it’s been a lifetime. I’ll keep this short as there’s not much more I have to add!
All in all, this procedure changed my life and my back pain. I feel more comfortable on my body than I ever have and I love my boobs now. Although imperfect (nothing is perfect), I love them. Shopping is easier, exercise is easier, life is easier. It’s the best decision I ever made for myself. Here are the before and afters from the doctor :)

7 months out!
Nothing new really! Just wanted to post an update with some pictures. My boobs are great and I’m so thankful to Dr. Emse Kalnoki in Rochester. She’s AMAZING.
At 24 years old, making this decision was not easy but I’m so so happy I did. It’s changed my life. I don’t wear bras unless I have to. I dont have trouble shopping. I love my new boobs, scars and all.

I love your results...I think you gals who had smaller reductions heal so much better than those of us with the jersey milk boobs....my incisions go almost to my back and at 5 weeks post op are still swollen and painful. I am glad I did it, but I am soooo tired of being uncomfortable...I want to heal like y’all

I know 5 weeks seems like a long time but I didn’t start feeling “normal” again until a couple months out. You’re on your way to healing! Hang in there :) scars are a small sacrifice for something so life changing I think!

Four month booby birthday! Ins update
It’s crazy that I’m 4 months out! It’s such a good feeling. My back pain is gone. My nipple sensitivity has returned to normal (which has always been sort of an irritating feeling to me). I love the size of my boobs now and I truly honestly feel like these were the boobs I was meant to have. I do feel like my lefty is a little larger still, but I’m okay with it! It was larger before anyways but now I actually like my boobs!
I wanted to share an update about my ins. They couldn’t guarantee coverage prior to surgery. Luckily I have amazing parents who pushed me to move forward anyways. We got confirmation after all of the bills came back that ins covered most of it. We paid a total of about $300 for the whole procedure. I am extremely lucky and feel so so so so grateful.
