I did my research for years to determine if breast augmentation was really for me. I also did my research on the procedure(s), the various implant sizes/shapes offered and also the many surgeons within a short flight distance. After much thought, I booked a few consultations with 3 surgeons in the surrounding central/upstate NY area whom were "410 certified." I was "set" on Allergan 410 breast implants to achieve the most natural and feminine look I could get.
Needless to say, Dr. Baum is the only surgeon was the first and last surgeon I met with. After my consult with him, I pretty much knew he was best suited. I canceled all other appointments.

I met with Dr. Baum in the fall of 2014 to begin my planning process for breast augmentation at some point the following year. After doing much research for a very, very long time I had my mind set on the Allergan 410 breast implants as I hoped for a more natural, feminine shape. My worst fear was to finally get the surgery only to end up having that very fake, round and unnatural look. I also did my research on surgeons and after scheduling multiple "first visits" with a few very reputable surgeons (including Dr. Baum), I canceled all other visits after my first with him.
Dr. Baum was incredibly attentive and answered all of my questions, which were lengthy and numerous. As soon as I saw him get to work with the measurements and his recommendations, I knew that he was very well versed in his field, he understood my needs and how I wanted to look to be happy and he took those needs very seriously while taking into account what he knew was best for me and my body type. His recommendation was actually a round, smooth silicone implant below 400cc with submuscular placement. A few months later, I scheduled my surgery date and my sizing appointment for February. I was SO excited and Dr. Baum took even more time out to walk me further through the process. I've worked with surgeons for years and Dr. Baum exceeded all expectations in terms of his confidence, his skill and expertise and his bedside manner. He is insanely professional, very humorous and he's an artist. I will never regret this decision and I recommend him CONSTANTLY.
My boyfriend said that if he wasn't aware of the surgery, he'd never know I got it done. My breasts look AND feel so incredibly natural. My mother has had an augmentation three times and she is incredibly jealous of my breasts. In addition, I had virtually NO pain after surgery (with the exception of my back and skin sensitivity at one week post-op). The facility is incredibly clean and the nursing staff both in the surgery center and in his office are FANTASTIC!!!
